I was one who sold, sadly (and annoyed!).

I couldnt even attempt a valuation of the businesses so i have no idea of its releasable value.

They have said that it will take up to 3 years too which is too long for me to wait with no idea whats happening and no control over events.

For a 'value-investor' though this looks an interesting opportunity. But that just isnt my style hence why i have sold up and taken a smarting hit.

Selftrade is down, still trying one of the others but haven't got the cash in there Doh !

Looks like the J777J's of this world panic sold earlier based on the word 'delist' ;-)

Just a thought, wonder if they already have an acquirer in mind for their largest division, PSG (property sector) 51% of group revenues.

Idle speculation at this point, but is this why 69% of larger shareholders are in favour of delisting.

Anyone fancy working out a some of the parts figure?

What do you reckon the 3 businesses are worth ? As they now have a market cap of about £6mln by my reckoning and a turnover of £9mln+, based on 25p share price, which is what it is now effectively, after the 15p is taken off.

Stunning really that 15p of the share price is based on head office costs.

Neither of my brokers will let me buy any. Was hoping for 40p.

So the businesses are now worth 25p of the share price ?

No way. Could be a gift horse, except its not easy to get shares at times.

I could probably sell these at near break even just now, but sod it. I'm in no rush and return should be much greater.

No position here having failed to react quickly on the recent +ve RNS. However, with today's share price drop and the proposed 15p return, I would guess its now very good value.

Is in backwardisation atm. If they let people sell at this level then those with a shorter timeframe can get out.

Initial indication is that share price will open 15p down, the same amount as the special dividend due in April.

Often companies delist just when you thought they were going to grow, so you get stuck not being able to trade easily and benefit from the growth, but in this case, selling off the businesses makes that irrelevant.

I am not sure what the initial price reaction is in these circumstances battlebus, first time I have been holding when a company has expressed the desire to delist.

But I am of the opinion that I might as well just hold, and see what returns I make from the business sales and cash return.

Didn't expect this at a time when prospects seemed much better, I guess that the 69% of shareholders see a higher return by delisting and selling off each division.

Rather disappointed that we will be deprived of the chance of further gains via the normal market route.

I maybe wrong but any fall should be small and possibly short lived if there re only few selling.

It would certainly be a no-brainer at 30-40p. No way would the group of shareholders have been in favour if they were only expecting to get that sort of value.

In fact I wonder what would have happened to the share price if they had announced the sale of the businesses and a special divi, while still being listed. The head office would still disappear, so there would still be a cash payout based on savings.

So it still looks cheapish ? The three businesses are worth 45p only ?

So if I bought some more, I'd get 15p in April, plus whatever the businesses fetch. Suppose a larger contract comes in before sale... hmmm. Suppose the 'consulted' shareholders have been given a few hints...

yump

Sounds daft but if they mark these down 50 percent or something silly, it's got to be worth buying more.

I never like delistings as they always seem to be in bombed out companies, but in this case its 3 businesses that are doing OK.

Which is pretty much the same as having a private holding via seed capital, which I have in a few others.

Its that 'delisting' word - makes AIM investors feel rejected - boohoo - we are the weakest link.

yump

Well, with a revenue of £9mln and a market cap of £11mln it could also be that the main group of shareholders have taken the view that they will get a way bigger return from the sell-off of the businesses than they would by waiting for AIM to propel the shares upwards.

Perhaps that's why there is an apparently wide support amongst shareholders.

Is it such a big deal? We get 15p in April and the proceeds from selling off the subsidiaries and liquidating the company over the next 3 years. That should be significantly in excess of 60p.

Like yump says we should atleast get our money back in special payments over an unknown period so no need to panic if you can ride it out though you effectively lose control of your shares once we delist.
I've had experience of this on Britdaq and matched trades basically don't exist.
The reason i feel shafted is the business is in turn around mode and could have sold the businesses while on the market, these costs are always over hyped imv.
Anyway expecting a drop this morning so holding is probably the best route for me.
