Watching this closely. It needs confirmation of SD sales to get it going - the discount here will not close in any other way. They could also do with a little more PR to insti's about the merits of the company going forwards, while drawing a line to the past and PW's tenure. I should say aswell, I'm not sure how much the recent protests against Sisi have affected this.

You don't just bounce out of a 1 year plus downward trend and then just start going upwards without correction. Bottoming action is to expected. Multiple re-tests of lows are possible.

Who knows what is going on here behind the scenes though. Volume is pathetic.

A higher price on a sustainable basis needs confirmation that SD is starting to produce this quarter, ramping up through next year, according to their plan. Simples.

Near zero demand for shares. Retail really has very little interest in this stock and so many of the shares are tied up in strong hands, around the 60% mark. A lot of the rest is probably tied up in hands like mine that aren't selling either.

Kaos3, SDX SPV Ltd is a holding company for Waha Capaital, based out of the UAE. SDX SPV Ltd used to be called MEA Energy.

I discovered this last year in the summer at some point. Waha is the spider you refer to. Along with Ingalls and Synder who I also believe have a reaonsable amount of influence. PW said as much in an interview at some point.

and most of capital intensive investments done and cash harvesting time coming

this a good take out story at this price

It looks to me that there is an american based east coast old money "nest" of investors. there must be a central "spider" in this nest. US controls over 50 %. this spider probably runs the show and did probably so also before. PW was an actor who became a liability. so no need for a CEO.

It looks like that Valerie is a medical doctor. Why would she invest into AIM small oiler? She must be an agile investor or she was told about it.

Nikolaos is highly educated ranch owner.

It all started in Canada and it looks Mr Doyle is behind it (CanPetro and Madison PetroGas which was merged into SDX!). He is protecting his capital. SDX SPV is probably his interest

I looked at the trades after the first sudden rise and the recent one - one started selling at 25 p. a lot. before that - I could not buy easily.

trading range? 20 - 25 till news?

managing share price for a corporate action? low share price price for a corporate action due to Egipt unstable, no free cash flow from Morroco, no CEO ....

someone is selling a lot (measured in the daily trading vol) at a critical chart point. many 20k sells, some 100k. and chart is going strong despite it. for now
