Your argument that they couldn't get a placing away at a higher price is nonsensical. On AIM so many trashy companies can do placings and they always get filled. If they'd wanted to do a placing they could have.

no need for clues, the capital restructuring to lower nominal to 1p said enough, it is a question of when not if

Rumobejo, have a guess. I'll give you some clues.

1. You know they are spending a lot on CAPEX
2. Cash is reducing despite good revenues

if there is much revenue why they still running at loss with no profit? why the debt facility if revenues covers capex?

Not comparing like for like rumobejo. The capex you quote is FY, the cash on had at end of H1. Plus you seem not be assuming any production revenue!

and allow me to direct you too to the recent update rns where the capex figures provided below is copied "AS IS"https://www.investegate.co.uk/sdx-energy-plc/rns/operational-and-corporate-update/201907080700047110E/never look to companies presentations as it is just pr promising pipe dreams in general, let's stick to the facts as per the rns on the 8th of July

maybe they tried that and there was no takers hence the funding via debt facility in place for the time being hoping that by year end when appraisal results comes out good they might get a better price, and if not then the nominal won't stop them doing a low ball placing to payoff the debt facility and raise more for capital expenditure etc

Rumobejo, allow me to direct you to page 13 of the July corporate presentation;

"No cost overrunsto date. Remaining gross capex of US$7.3 million (net to SDX US$4.0 million) will be funded by a gross US$5.9 million AR offset and US$1.4 million cash."

So net $700k capex left for SDX to spend from cash in SD.

Now the capital restructure does concern me given the strange goings on with this company, but if they did the restructure to get a low ball placing done why wouldn't they have done a placing earlier with a higher share price?

Hope you do a better financial job on your tax return - assuming you earn enough to have to complete one.

so if 10p gives it £20m mcap + $10m debt yet not making solid profits then maybe 10p is too generous, how about 5p? or 1p nominal value!!!
rumobejo
24/7/2019
21:22
adding to that the recent capital restructuring to lower the nominal value to 1p from 20p, what does that tells you?!!!"As a result of the Capital Reduction, the nominal value of ordinary shares in the issued share capital of the Company is now £0.01 each.  There has been no change in the number of the Company's ordinary shares in issue."

FY 2019 Capex guidance is unchanged as follows; *South Disouq US$35.5 million (gross)/US$19.5 million (net)*Meseda/Rabul US$5.4 million (gross)/US$2.7 million (net)*North West Gemsa US$4.0 million (gross)/US$2.0 million (net)*Morocco US$14.0 million (gross)/US$12.0 million (net)19.5+2.7+2+12~=36-11(cash)-10(facility)=$15m short of funding, even after receiving the $7m receivable still short by $8m and by the time they burn the cash digging they will no longer be debt free, simplez?

cashflow 40m? where you got that from? what about capex?
rumobejo
23/7/2019

Given the very minimal projected remaining spend for capex for SD from cash was announced to be about 700k net to SDX, cash at bank might actually start to rise again.

Christ we need didn't think it would get close to the current price. Anything is possible. Assuming what we think we know about the company is true then 10p would just be an even more ludicrous valuation.

10p is mkt cap 20m. Cashflow is over 40m.So i dont understand your reasoning. Its debt free with 11m in bank and 10m overdraft available.
