I was a relatively early entrant to SDX but left because I thought PW had created a degree of confusion/obfuscation around the ultimate potential at SD and the timescale for it to be realised. I saw these things increased the level of risk.

I re-entered comparatively recently when I felt that progress was being made in Egypt and Morocco and that the fog of uncertainty was clearing - and that risk was diminishing.

I like today's analyst presentation a lot and will be looking again at my holding and giving consideration to topping up.

ITCF and they may also feel the need to give investors reasons to stay invested (buy on weakness, even) until the next series of RNS's.

IFCF, in one of his interviews this week, PW was very clear that his plan is to grow the MCAP of the business to $1 billion dollars+ in the next 3-5 years and then 'exit' but that any sale would have to be 'north' of $1 billion so I don't think there's any danger of an early take out at a low share price

Very detailed and enlightening report. You could almost think that they were publishing their data room for potential acquirers to look at!

Hope not though - someone said yesterday that this is a $1billion co in the making - hope so!

Sdx are already undervalued based on current expected production but if some of these targets come in in 2019 (particularly the oil and the Morocco gas) then sdx will be even more undervalued. The future potential here is massive.

Yes, a pretty comprehensive presentation! I've had one trawl through it, but there's a lot to take in. SD oil very much on the agenda, as is the prospect of oil in Morocco....

The presentation is essential reading. It includes 82 pages and is the clearest and most detailed disclosure I have ever seen by any E&P in the past 20 years.

Bravo to SDX and PW. Nobody can possibly say there is any lack of clarity/transparency. No stone unturned, no detail omitted.

It looks mighty impressive.

Now it's just a matter of time…...

There's a couple of interviews from yesterday on that youtube link (if you let it run). PW is super bullish. SDX very much on target to achieve 8000 boepd by year end. Significantly increased monthly revenues within 6 months.

It's not on a back burner. The equipment needed to sort the well out isn't available in country so they have to wait to get it and are going to sort the well out during the next Morocco drilling programme.

Yes, just will take longer to get it producing by the sounds of things. I don't think they need the gas from it either (as in it wouldn't be added to current Moroccan production as they don't have the contracts in place yet - although the delay could potentially cause a delay in additional contracts beings signed as the reserves from LMS-1 won't be apparent until after the flow test and other work).
