19/12/2017 08:20 | Presentation out today. Makes the point that despite Zohr, Egypt will still need gas. hxxp://www.sdxenergy | haideralifool
18/12/2017 21:30 | Seen it all before multiple times here. This needs to go, keep going and not look back (for a while at least lol because there are always pull-backs). | shakeypremis
18/12/2017 21:22 | Yep, just re-rated this evening in Canada +7% on 200k | itsriskythat
18/12/2017 13:04 | A rerating?! | darola
18/12/2017 12:39 | so if being down 2% is tanking what's 4% rise? | franki8
18/12/2017 11:11 | Actually the Zohr gas sale price can be found online: $5.8/MMBTU = $6.2/Mcfg "A key impediment to the development of new natural gas fields has historically been the price that Egypt has typically paid international oil companies, which averaged around US$2.65 per million Btu. However, in recent years, EGAS has signed agreements to pay international oil companies a higher price for their natural gas, ranging from US$3.95 to US$5.88 per million Btu, to attract more foreign investors. In each instance, the price has been negotiated on a case-by-case basis." "Pursuant to the NW Gemsa Concession Agreement, the cost recovery gas price is evaluated on the basis of US$1.6/MMBTU and production sharing gas is evaluated on the basis of US$1/MMBTU." | itsriskythat
18/12/2017 11:11 | I wouldn't call a 2% fluctuation tanking! Baseline pretty solid around the 50p mark and just waiting for some encouraging news. Patience will pay. | petersinthemarket
18/12/2017 10:42 | Sales contract news, terms, prices etc. will presumably remove the final stumbling block to much higher prices. If the value many perceive is truly in there, it will show itself eventually. | the drewster
18/12/2017 10:31 | Leaving aside the appalling share price action, can anyone explain the apparent total lack of buying interest hkere given the great news and publicity lately? I am absolutely perplexed. No one is interested. | dsmith57
18/12/2017 09:01 | down it tanks against a flying oil price.. | pjj71
17/12/2017 19:46 | HaiderThat's the plan, what's interesting is they are signing deals with 5 year contract this bodes well as we will get consistent cash flow from these wells. This next well they are drilling will be interesting, it they find gas here it will be positive. | neo26
17/12/2017 17:41 | Actually the Zohr gas sale price can be found online: $5.8/MMBTU = $6.2/Mcfg | itsriskythat
17/12/2017 10:11 | Better still it should help sort of the FX shortage and leave fewer excuses for delays in payments to SDX! | haideralifool
17/12/2017 09:59 | Hopefully Zohr coming online won't affect the price SDX can negotiate for the gas they will produce from South Disoq. | shakeypremis
16/12/2017 19:12 | Some significant news | itsriskythat
15/12/2017 14:20 | At least PW took on board my briefing! ;-#)) | thegreatgeraldo
15/12/2017 14:00 | ^ in that clip what I understood him saying was that they are targeting 24mmscf/day of sales (to fill the pipe?), but in order to do that they need 45bcf of reserves (to be able to sign the 5 year contracts). They currently have 6mmscf/day of production and are currently going after another 12 with the current drilling programme. And the overall time frame to hit the 24 is 2 years. | haideralifool
15/12/2017 13:33 | Interview with Paul Welch, CEO, of SDX Energy on Proactive Investors. please see below for the link. [...] | thomasthetank1
15/12/2017 12:05 | Clearly what matters when it comes to upping production, under 5 year contracts, is having the reserves to meet the volume of gas contracted..... PW has already said that reserves will be updated; until they are, all he can talk about is test rates which highlight that drilling is going to plan..... all good!! | thegreatgeraldo
15/12/2017 11:58 | Hopefully seller starting to dry up. | soulsauce
15/12/2017 11:52 | Thanks for your post TGG | plentymorefish
15/12/2017 11:06 | plentymorefish - decent test result, but it won't be put on production at anywhere near that rate. | thegreatgeraldo
15/12/2017 10:56 | Picking up nicely... Mr Welsh sounds more and more promising with each update- wish I had another 100k to throw in here.. the story keeps getting better!! | potential |
