Yes,SDL shares have traded high for years. It is a rare company that has both its model and consistent growth intact thru all the trouble since 2008. Looks like the market is going to grow the share price some more.

That said, the first stumble in this great year-on-year progress will bring the punishment given to any share that goes ex-growth.

Results were sound. Looks like a clear break from the one-year pause below £7.20.

Excellent results and heading for the FTSE 100 IMO. Huge market out there and this is the world leader that is consistently delivering.

Really excellent end of year trading update and some board succession today. EPS will be a bit above market expectations: a necessity for shareholder confidence in a high PE growth stock, but this co continues to deliver. In my view the business market they are addressing is just beginning to show its enormous future size.

Does anyone know the reason for Panmure Gordon's Sell recomendation on 20 Oct, notwitstanding their earnings forecasts for 2010 and 2011 were higher than any other analyst's recent forecasts?

TIA

Sandbank - this is a FTSE 100 future company - tide is with it - globalisation anyone who has over the last few years has bought the dips has profited. Not necessarily the fastest, but I personally have resisted taking a profit quite a few times, because I think the fundas are so strong - the trend is see google translation, the business is in getting it right or you could be sued and this is the 5 star way of doing it. High pes give you better returns if you are in the right one and this is one such IMO. Think big, profit big!

Mark Lancaster , Chief Executive Officer, sold 750,000 shares in the company on the 3rd September 2010 at a price of 540.00p. The Director now holds 537,983 shares.
NOTE: Raising funds for property purchase
Story provided by StockMarketWire.com

So the CEO sells 750,000 shares at 540p. So who sold the other 726,071 at the same price about the same time?

edit - EI, off my list now too! How about a bit of MRO or SBRY ;)

Off my list now.

Cambium, congratulations to your daughter.

My first ever trade I lost about £850, my entire net worth was
about £2,000 back then, this was 1991.

I never made those mistakes again, was up to £3,500 following
my third deal a couple of months later.
