It was the AGM update that I was referring to. When will we get the next one?

Agreed. Last trading update was AGM on 22nd Nov. Last year trading update was on 31st Jan. Lodge, do you know something we don't?

Indeed. Why should this affect SCS? Answer: It doesn't. We have already had the trading update which was fine. Lemmings running for the hills as usual.

Although Scs group has been satisfying shareholders. There is another company that is in a less competitive space but relates to floorcovering or the distribution of floorcovering. It’s Headlam Group. It pays a progressive dividend, has stable earnings and the share price recovers faster than those in the floorcovering industry. Also, the business model is simply lorries, warehouses and drivers. For further details on Headlam, click http://bit.ly/2mLZyHa

Totally agree. that's why I loaded up at 155. I think fair value is around £3.

With a dividend of around 7% and a PE of 9.42 these are looking very good indeed.

Having a look on Stockopedia SCS seems to be well undervalued

Up she goes again. If there is no reason for a sudden drop? sp's usually recover quite quickly

You might equally ask, what caused the similar sized spike in the eatly days of jan. Price is only where it was a couple of weeks ago & still up on a month ago.

House of Fraser - where ScS has concessions - had a poor Xmas and that news came out this morning. That's all I can think of. w1

8-9% yield continues to look safe. It feels more like a high yield bond!

Just over a week to get the dividend. Buyers are queuing up here, hardly anything on the offer. Expect more buying pressure into next week.

Owned this one for a long time, never really understood the rating but they are debt free, generate good cash and pay an incredible yield so I will continue to hold.

The £17m working capital inflow from increased payables means that (yes, it's not their cash) that the revenues are growing and they are selling sofas. The rating tells that they are not but the facts say otherwise.
