Managed to get over 5k at 2 quid on the dot. Went to NT but order filled. Happy days!

Don't get House of Fraser concessions. If they're anything like the one near me, they're like ghost towns. Happy with the results though. Slow and steady wins the day, and if they can succeed in a supposed downturn then this is one to hold.

LFL still up in a very difficult retail environment is very impressive.

I have held these for years and was very tempted to sell before this trading update given how bad it has been for most high street retailers I was very nervous.
The rating is very low and divi is very high so I will definitely be holding now.

Yes. I'm assuming that the company wouldn't buy 500k+ shares for the EBT from a strategic investor if there was a profit warning around the corner. But stranger things have happened!

It was the AGM update that I was referring to. When will we get the next one?
lodgeview

Agreed. Last trading update was AGM on 22nd Nov. Last year trading update was on 31st Jan. Lodge, do you know something we don't?

Lodgeview: I don't see a post Christmas trading update from ScS?

Indeed. Why should this affect SCS? Answer: It doesn't. We have already had the trading update which was fine. Lemmings running for the hills as usual.

Although Scs group has been satisfying shareholders. There is another company that is in a less competitive space but relates to floorcovering or the distribution of floorcovering. It’s Headlam Group.

It pays a progressive dividend, has stable earnings and the share price recovers faster than those in the floorcovering industry.
Also, the business model is simply lorries, warehouses and drivers.

Totally agree. that's why I loaded up at 155. I think fair value is around £3.

With a dividend of around 7% and a PE of 9.42 these are looking very good indeed.

Up she goes again. If there is no reason for a sudden drop? sp's usually recover quite quickly

You might equally ask, what caused the similar sized spike in the eatly days of jan.

Price is only where it was a couple of weeks ago & still up on a month ago.
