25/11/2020 16:52 | Hyper Al, how come the price of shares goes down when there are always buyers? Surely you know that when there are more sellers than buyers at, say, £1 the MM has to drop the price to attract buyers. And if the sellers keep coming, the price keeps dropping. Gold is no different. | pr100
25/11/2020 16:26 | pr100 You think short term all the time. Exploration and Mining is never like that. | hyper al

25/11/2020 16:12 | pr100 So who is buying all this so called Gold they are selling? The buyer obviously wants it, why do you think they are buying? Every sell has a buy. You can't sell without a buyer. Or maybe the seller is central banks and ETFs and Warren Buffett and the buyer is the other arm of the same groups. No profit gained for them and no loss when they sell back to the other arm, but plenty of loss for those who just follow the gossip. I do love Gold! | hyper al
25/11/2020 08:40 | Hyper Al, I think it's reasonable to assume that the people/IIs selling [or buying] large amounts of physical [or paper] gold are better informed than you or I. So when central banks and ETFs and Warren Buffett sell then a lot of other holders follow suit. Simples. Beware the hype. | pr100
25/11/2020 07:49 | pr100 Do you own any Gold, have you sold any because of recent news? "GOLD crashes through support levels to $1811 as analysts expect $1650 " That is paper Gold or digital Gold, short term sentiment is not the best time to sell physical gold, who would? Those trading paper are just gamblers. Those who sell physical Gold on short term sentiment can regret it, Gordon Brown selling Bank of England's gold is a very good example. Physical Gold is security for nations, some nations hold it in vaults some allow their people to hold it as jewellery and coins, but ultimately it belongs to their nation, who can demand it back at any time (or at least try). For this reason it is a very unique form of security. Paper traders just distort the physical market. Nations don't play such games, they allow them to trade in return for tax. A reason for nations to allow it's people to hold physical Gold is to allow the nation to make some tax gains from the Gold rather than just leaving it in the vaults, probably why China allowed it's people to openly purchase as from 2002 when the Shanghai Gold Exchange opened. National distribution also makes it more secure from theft/destruction. China has created an amazing Gold market with enormous potential for growth. Such popular demand increase will continue to underpin Gold for decades ahead. With USA getting back into Global politics, I see that as a positive reason for holding Gold. Maybe paper treaders are knocking it back for their own gains in the future, are they manipulators or gamblers? | hyper al

Richard Gray, Chief Executive Officer of Scotgold commented: "It is very encouraging that what was in effect a calibration exercise has already identified new targets within the test area over the Cononish deposit and we look forward to what our exploration team can discover using these new techniques over our much larger Grampian Project area in the coming years. The Company's expectation for the Cononish mine to become cash positive in 2020 will accelerate these exploration programs and facilitate our stated strategy of building a pipeline of projects in Scotland."
