I bought plenty in the lowest-price-ever placing - and will doubtless get the usual opportunity to buy more at under the last placing price, if I choose to.

It was done under duress of course - impossible to sell, locked in to the lobster pot so had to buy more even though the management is very poor.

Seems like this CEO has been unable to secure a single institutional investor in a rising market and at a reduced entry price. Obviously, only the mugs swallow the story but I'm counting on being able to bale out at some point. Not looking hopeful yet as there has been precious little interest from the market since the DIY funding was announced.

Until then, I'll try to keep you on the straight and narrow - especially now that you ad the boys are pumping away again having kept schtum while the share price dropped to a level which would punish PIs to the max with the placing price.

You will get your just desserts however. You're just an unsecured PI like your wee chums on the forum.

So, we seem to have flushed out 7.5% shareholder Peter Hetherington - who I assume makes a concert party with NLR as they are old chums from IG.

In fact, I believe they teamed up to take IG Group private in 2003. Funny that.

You heard it here (or there) first.

Well well well........that was a quick 10 YEARS.....ROFL (at shylock once again...!!!)

Had a chat with a relative that lives in Lower Earley, Reading.
He tells me that there was an almighty puff of smoke around Kiln Green, RG10 early this morning......rumour has it that some dodgy bloke watched a bonus, he'd worked tirelessly for the last few years, spontaneously combust right before his very eyes right after he logged onto FE investigate around 7am today......such a shame.....ROFL, PMSL, LOL, LOL, LOL

Well done all genuine holders.......onwards and upwards....!!!!

Whoopee! PIs shafted again with another 50% dilution! To re-cap:

Nov 2017: 16m shares in issue
May 2018: 43m shares in issue

Dilution over 6 months: 170% (worse than even I forecast)

Plus… total failure to raise any finance from external institutions, even though the price of gold is rising.

Plus… unexplained big increase in funding requirement. Nov 13 RNS stated that £2.65m RI target was approx 30% of total required to bring Phase 1 into production. So approx total cash needed was £9m.So balance then needed was approx £6.35m.

Then on Jan 4, Scotgold snuck in a £450k placing (as they do), thus reducing the estimated balance needed to approx £5.9m. And on Mar 15 they sold the French asset for an initial £80k in cash so the financing balance was down to approx £5.82m.

But today they tell us they needed a further £9m. Even if you discount the £1m that NLR is lending to himself, the costs must have increased by over £2m in the blink of an eye.

If PIs have learned anything from this, they will be expecting even more placings in the coming days and weeks.

And isn't it comforting to know that even if Scotgold Resources Plc disappears, the mine can continue to operate as SGZ Cononish Ltd - with NLR's interest still fully secured even if minority shareholders lose everything?

Looks like someone will be getting their bonus , LOL
Richard Gray, CEO commented: "This is a momentous occasion for the Company and for gold production in Scotland. We have seen a number of significant milestones achieved by the Company in recent years, culminating now in what will be a new gold mining industry in the Scottish Highlands. I would like to thank all our stakeholders for their longstanding support and look forward to the next exciting chapter in our company's development"

This can happen to anyone at any time:

…especially when a big chunk of the equity is owned by one person, liquidity is low, PIs aren't valued and a big cash injection is needed.

Be prepared. The streets are full of disembowelled AIM zombies cast adrift by Interquest, Nighthawk, Gulfsands, Fusionex, Datatec and others who have blamed AIM's high costs and low benefits for raising the drawbridge…

The tiny twins in the other place are hoping you will believe that Scotgold will get Cononish into production without issuing any more shares. This is so far wide of the mark to be funny if it weren't so dangerously misleading. The real dilution is only just beginning.

They also seem to think that the current management will be able to extract the nameplate gold from this mine when they couldn't even get close to the targeted production from the handy stockpile which allegedly contained some of our probable reserves.

Let's conveniently forget that the twin objectives of the BPT were to demonstrate the marketability and profitability of gold production from Cononish. It was an epic fail, falling a long way short of recovering its costs.

The CEO has only shown that he is not competent to develop a profitable mine - or to create any value for minority shareholders. Steven Gerrard would give us a better chance.

Best you remember what this RNS is telling you loud and clear: it could take another TEN YEARS to get this mine into production.

Also, it's telling you that they aren't close to getting funding as they wouldn't be able to get away with dishing out warrants "just in time".

Hi Shylock , how are you these days.
You don't think they deserve any incentive ! lol

I think your just upset because they will be getting a bonus for getting us into production, personally I think it's a good idea . Doesn't your employer do the same ?
