Decent write up in Shares Mag this morning highlighting this as a buy.In an interview with Stephen Moon, Shares Mag confirms the expectation for positive EBITDA this financial year.

I still feel like these guys are buying market share. The deals with USA tri and RnR sound good in principle but i'm not sure it adds profitability. I've used the products (and other brands) for a long time. I'm also aware that almost everyone I know who races (run bike swim or all three) buys their nutrition in bulk when it's on sale. They also have a couple of brands they use and switch depending on which is on discount. No-one pays full price. There is very little brand loyalty. SIS products are always on sale at Wiggle etc. I'm not sure you can make money when you have to spend so heavily on price promotion.

I've just had an email from Sportpursuit (like Achica for sports) with up to 63% discount on SIS. Sportpursuit is usually end of line/season clearance products. I'm not sure how SIS can turn market share into profit. It's a very competitive market.

Battle bus, exactly why I am stillHolding. Waiting for profitability. This is when they should move even higher. Sold in Tesco's, + decathlon. My brother is a triathlete and open water coach . Him and several athletes use products . Only in last 18 months.

Results out, revenues up 28% with losses inline. Investing for international growth but expects UK EU to be profitable at EVITDA level in H2.

>battlebusOnly this: "We have had a strong start to the year in a difficult market, and have made very good progress, particularly when many of our competitors continue to face growth challenges."However, am still fairly confident and have done well with SIS. I just think they may be slightly managing expectations downwards.

I have been following this for a while but have reduced my holding in recent months. Odd to see the big director sales earlier in the summer and some caution creeping into their sales updates

I know Reading FC use their products. I just hope that they're all paying for it.

No doubt Yump, profits aren't of major concern as they build revenues and they have a cash cushion but more importantly if they continue to steal market share with increases like we've seen yet at the same time say the sector is in challenging times I'd have though their competitors would be watching closely ;))

I keep looking in here to see if there is ever any mention of profit, but they do seem to be stuck on just reporting sales increases - profit comments now seem conspicuous by their repeated absence.

Perhaps there will be a sudden break into profit, surprising everyone and catapulting the share price.

Having said that, the revenue levels should give rise to good profits, if the model is viable.

I wonder if the idea from quite early on was to concentrate on revenue and market share in the hope of being bought out. They won't say that obviously, but it must be tempting in a fragmented market. The story of consolidating it is a reasonable enough story.
