SREI has finance fixed for the next six or so years
As it is subscale I think their will be corporate action sooner rather than later
In the meantime I just collect the dividends
SERE although very different assets is also subscale and I hold with the same reasoning

SREI has had quite a bit of positive press coverage recently. Accordingly the share price has moved up to a rather over-valued level IMO.

At 51.7p the discount now a mere 11.9% and the yield an unremarkable 6.47%.

Chart in the Header shows signs of topping out and beginning a slight reversal.

Time to play in some of the others.

CLI beginning to look rather firmer after the BUY note by Berenbergs. Target 114p v. current 99p, where still on an 8% yield and crazy 56% discount.

Reasonable director by countered by Witan unloading c5% which presumably will be covered by someone else declaring they've taken the stake

RAM - indeed, AEWU, CREI, PCTN & SREI. I however prefer the better value in the Euro generalist SERE. That one still on a 32% discount & 7.2% yield.

It's good, I like it, but at 6.4% cash yield, I sold my last holding. It has been one of my top holdings for both long term gains and repeated trading.

In a sense, my recent sale is just that - a sale, but for trading purposes. I will repurchase at better relative value.

I like selling on keen buyers and buying on keen sellers. In other words, in this REIT market, relative liquidity effects are under appreciated (amongst other things).

As an example, selling against the bullish views of Simon Thompson (there may be others) has been borderline 100% successful. AIRE is a case in point. And buying SUPR against the 60p call by Mike Prew was a decent call.

Of course, I simplify - the pas de deux between liquidity and newsflow or opinion is complex, but certainly presents decent opportunity.

As predicted, this is one of only four commercial prop generalists left standing - Picton, Custodian and AEW being the others. So, if the sector can come back into favour a little, demand should help bring in the discounts some more. Or if there are some predators still looking on, there are now only four targets to choose from.

Up another 4% this week to 52p been a great investment at low 40's in last 12 months & over 8% yield on what I paid, hope others came on board, reasons for investing in my previous posts, covered dividend, low fixed debt 10 years, multi industrial estates etc. Think I'll hold bought for income for myself & wife's SIPP.

The return info on the back of the envelope gives postcode BN99 6RB - the same as - Equiniti!

Snap. I wonder how they got my address. Who shared my personal data without my knowledge or permission?Not a big issue in this instance but in different circumstances it might not be too clever.It might just be that ii did the mailing for them and no data changed hands.

Strangely I got a letter from SREI this morning in the post. It’s a one pager informing me to sign up to email updates from the trust. I hold these in an ii sipp nominee account so surprised I got sent this..

Nothing new in that Investor Meet rerun today pushed out the same spiel as the one 3mths ago but hinted at good news over Stanley Green come the interims.
