19/1/2021 12:12 | I've top-sliced a few. Took on some slightly different value opportunities in OMIP and KAPE. I remain not just overweight, but 'morbidly obese' in SREI! Expected long-term hold. | spin doctor
19/1/2021 09:50 | Yes, a significant move. On nickrl's point, buyback momentum very slow recently, and suspect the recent share price move will and should kill them completely. 2021 surely brings some distressed sales and development/repurpos NAV and div update in a month or so. | spin doctor
19/1/2021 08:21 | Breakout! The strengthening share price suggests life should now be in the 40s: free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | skyship
18/1/2021 21:54 | The wildcard here is what Sunak does in budget and once the likes of furlough come to an end how much collateral damage will be revealed in unemployment that will cascade down. That said SREI is still of interest but I feel they should hold back on share buybacks as when businesses start having to be realistic we will see much more property on the market and thats when opportunities will arise. | nickrl
18/1/2021 16:15 | Years for me. Unless there is inflation and rising interest rates in which case the non-inflation linked will get a higher proportion. REITs have historically rallied hard after recessions. I have added in SHED and SUPR today. SREI last week and may add more soon. | chucko1
18/1/2021 15:19 | Agreed, tho initially read that as "A solid (and overnight) hold.." :) I'm planning to be in for longer. | spectoacc
18/1/2021 15:14 | Interesting to see relatively firm share price of SREI and to some extent REITs more generally. Presumably a response to the vaccination program, and investors looking through the next few months of tight restrictions. A solid (and overweight) hold for me. | spin doctor

13/1/2021 14:20 | SREI is my largest holding, so won't be taking on any more at the moment. BREI back up to 62.6p today; and still cheap; but Best Buys today IMO: # CLI & MCKS - both Office specialists, which may deter some... | skyship
13/1/2021 10:36 | SKYSHIP - thanks for posting. What are your favourite picks from this list now?. I see EPIC has dropped off. I added EPIC last week at 66. If SREI drops to 37.5 then I will take a nibble as well. | flyer61

24/12/2020 12:38 | Chucko got to see first qtr as a right off and I suspect there will be some reversal of rental collection rates, increased provisions and further deferments of rents so not expecting dividends even where reasonably covered to improve until Q3/4 now. I suspect rental moratorium will get rolled over, despite what has been said, as its an easy way for govt to save a few quid but i don't believe its a significant issue now as majority of REIT landlords have arrangements in place. Ultimately as long as liquidity is maintained and omens are good I don't believe there will be much forced distressed selling either so we will be in this foggy world where I expect most REITs to tread water. As to how far up SREI is prepared to buy to remains to be seen. | nickrl
24/12/2020 11:53 | Yes, perhaps. I sold for one more time but I may not ever be able to buy them back below 38. Only a few, but I want them all for the long run. There have also been perma sellers in AEWU and RGL which seem not to have been so present today. Are they out, or just taking an early Xmas break? Also, I suspect them very positive Oxf/AZN news very soon. But time is very much of the essence as Jan and Feb are looking like a total mess. | chucko1
24/12/2020 11:50 | Investec have taken on another 1% | nickrl |
