17/11/2020 07:57 | Specto - buybacks great; but the recent activity so far just 0.7% accretive (as per today's RNS). Still impressive due to the absurd discount. | skyship
17/11/2020 07:56 | "50% increase in dividend from last quarter announced. Back to 75% of pre-covid divi." More like 90% (depending on your timeframe) unless I'm being a bit silly Bought quite a few of these, thanks all posters for their contributions, particularly Skyship. | frazboy
17/11/2020 07:27 | Flyer - divi increase to 0.575p - so you were quite close in yr 1061 above. All looks good & NAV @ 58p higher than I expected. (Mar'20 was 59.7p; Jun'20 was 57.7p) Buybacks to resume: "Alongside today's publication of its Interim Results the Company has announced that it will recommence its open market share buyback programme with its broker, JP Morgan Securities plc" | skyship
17/11/2020 07:26 | SREI proving the pick of the bunch. Excellent divi news offsets the only bad: minor increase in LTV due to falling NAV: "Net Asset Value (NAV') decreased by 2.8% to £296.8 million or 58 pps (31 March 2020: £309.8 million or 59.7 pps; 30 September 2019: £354.3m or 68.3 pps)" Buybacks have added 1.4% to NAV, thanks to the impressive discount. "...We are now focused on the disciplined use of capital via acquisitions and share repurchases to drive shareholder returns."" | spectoacc
17/11/2020 07:21 | 50% increase in dividend from last quarter announced. Back to 75% of pre-covid divi. | 1nf3rn0
16/11/2020 14:46 | I'm with you SKYSHIP...40p next stop | flyer61
16/11/2020 14:03 | No reason why these should not be back up to the 41p level again quite soon. In doing so they would merely be playing catch-up with the recoveries in other REITs. free stock charts from uk.advfn.com free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | skyship
16/11/2020 13:47 | nick - as posted some time ago - in the recent buyback period of 8th Sept - 16th Oct they bought back 15.2m at an average price of 32.23p. Highest price paid was 34.25p. They have approval for 77m; and have so far spent just £4.9m of their cash pile - so a way to go yet I would imagine... | skyship
16/11/2020 12:20 | Moderna's vaccine giving everything a boost now, I fancy SREI's chances :) | spectoacc
16/11/2020 12:10 | If you look at EPIC's performance over the last month you would have thought there was the possibility of something similar here. | flyer61
16/11/2020 11:52 | They have authority to purchase 76.9m so not far off that number so reckon it needs a decent RNS to shift this up a gear and im positive it will be but will share price respond now given Mr Market probably now standing on the sidelines until we have confirmation that vaccine can be rolled out or psoitive Brexit news. | nickrl
16/11/2020 11:49 | My working guess for the divi going forward is 0.55p per quarter. | flyer61
16/11/2020 11:28 | From the recent RNS they hold in treasury 62359112 but not sure if some of these have been brought back previously. This number represents 25 million ish pounds. On the divi front surely no less than the previous one. | flyer61
16/11/2020 11:14 | How many shares have they bought back so far against the mandate? | nickrl
16/11/2020 10:57 | So far so good....fingers crossed for tomorrow morning. | flyer61
13/11/2020 22:11 | My thoughts exactly EI wllm :) | wllmherk
13/11/2020 17:49 | Cummings gone with immediate effect. This says to me an EU deal is increasingly likely (even allowing for the clash with Carrie Symonds). If so, highly supportive for some UK focussed REITS. Cummings reportedly strongly agitating for a no deal exit. Both Gove and Sunak said to want a deal. Would not usually refer to politics on a stock board, however this is highly relevant re the sector. | essentialinvestor
13/11/2020 17:38 | Well done Flyer. I bought in today @ 33.35p, so you just beat me. | starpukka
13/11/2020 16:00 | Flyer - nice timing... | skyship
13/11/2020 15:59 | Net cash c£80m after the recent buybacks; but the divi situation a bit of a mystery, which should be clarified next Tuesday... | skyship
13/11/2020 15:55 | Took some down here, not the faintest idea, so whats the divi predictions ahead here then i wonder? | my retirement fund
13/11/2020 15:05 | What do we believe the net cash situation is with SREI? | flyer61
13/11/2020 14:49 | Just double tapped for 2 x 25000 at 33.25p. Lets see what happens. Couldn't get a quote for 50K. | flyer61
13/11/2020 11:32 | I think you do right, and good for us if the buy-back recommences at these slightly lower levels :) | spectoacc
13/11/2020 11:12 | Hi Spec - IMO extremely unlikely to be as much as 3% down, but if so that would deliver 56p and a discount still at 40.2% @ 33.5p. Compare that with 4 peers: # BREI @ 60p. Disc. = 36.7% # MCKS @ 212p. Disc. = 35.6% # PCTN @ 73p. Disc. = 20.8% # SLI @ 60p. Disc. = 23.9% SREI crazy good value. I've re-opened all positions sold into the rise. | skyship |
