Schroder Japan Trust plc (the "Company") announces that on Friday 26 May 2023 it purchased 20,000 of its ordinary shares at a price of 220 pence per share, to be cancelled.

Following this purchase, the Company's issued share capital consists of 120,103,965 ordinary shares of 10p each, the total number of shares in treasury is 0 and the total number of voting rights in the Company is 120,103,965.
