13/10/2016 06:26 | Disappointing update this morning.... Materially below this time last year and small loss. Also not sure of the outlook though £/$ rate is helping. 1mm cash and NAV 74p
Still a hold for me ATM. | battlebus2
09/9/2016 10:43 | All resolutions passed at the AGM this morning, if anyone attended any write up would be appreciated... | battlebus2
02/9/2016 11:42 | Moving higher today :)) | battlebus2
01/9/2016 15:42 | Nice finish to the day here and a 5k buy over the offer at 40p :)) | battlebus2
24/8/2016 07:56 | Bit of life here it seems with a tick up on this mornings buy. AGM on Friday 9th September but they don't usually issue a statement as there's one mid October. The fall in Sterling can only help with the overseas buyers imv but we will see later on in the year... | battlebus2

13/5/2016 08:58 | Hi mod farm, yes lack of interest here at the minute but hopefully a return to profit and any acquisitions may help. Liquidity also an issue so buying for the longer term seems sensible imv Looks very cheap to me and hopefully over time we will see a decent rise in share price. | battlebus2
13/5/2016 08:32 | Net assets and cash have both fallen since the interim results. I'm in because of the discount to assets but I want to start seeing the book value grow. | hammers976
13/5/2016 08:18 | No not missing something. Meant cash and assets The Group's balance sheet remains strong, with net assets at the year-end in excess of GBP10 million (73.5p per share), including cash of approximately GBP1.3 million (9.5p per share) | babbler
13/5/2016 07:41 | Mcap 5m, cash 1.3m or am I missing something | modform
13/5/2016 07:36 | I have this on my watch list bb2 but just don't like the business model | modform
13/5/2016 07:29 | It's a rare one this :)) | battlebus2
13/5/2016 07:11 | Nice discount to nav here. Cash more than mcap. But no interest. | babbler
13/5/2016 06:49 | Really pleased with this mornings materially ahead statement with expected pre tax break even t. hTTp://www.investegate.co.uk/scholium-group-plc--scho-/rns/trading-update/201605130700061055Y/ | battlebus2
03/5/2016 19:54 | CJohn, Enteq(NTQ) may also interest you. | hugepants
27/4/2016 09:06 | Hi Huge Pants,
OK, technically SCHO IS a net-net, but as you're aware, inventory is the lion's share of "current" assets at 7.42m at the half year. Well, given that yearly turnover is likely to be around only 6m, it's a real stretch to regard this inventory as highly current.
Or put it another way, the quality of the current assets is far from cash-like. (And Hammers of course is quite right: there'd have to be heavy discounting in any fire sale to shift so much inventory in short order.) | cjohn
22/4/2016 16:29 | Lol more than today's market cap. | battlebus2
22/4/2016 16:19 | Any idea on the value of this business's inventory in a fire sale? What would be a realistic but conservative haircut to book value? | hammers976
22/4/2016 13:01 | Well this mutt has net working capital of 72p per share so trading at a huge discount. A bit harsh for a company that returned to profit in H1.
You're right on the trading update. They've released one each of the last 2 years in late April. | hugepants
22/4/2016 09:17 | Continuing to rise off lows, it's possible we may have a trading update next week if last year is anything to go by. | battlebus2
