Aye................that was my thinking.......Convatec linked..........AGM was 10.30am......share started taking off 2.45pm.......oversold and all that but tomorrow could be interesting RNS-wise

Edit: Bonkers move! Stock has already hit 200. That's a 16% move from the breakout mentioned earlier above 172.

The VWAP IS 176 WITH THE STOCK TRADING AT 200. THAT'S HIGHLY UNUSUAL!

Surely a reasonably strong chance of it being news related with this kind of move. The short position in the stock hasn't been enough to explain it via a squeeze. It has that short squeeze type of move to it too you see.

Off topic this one, but further to my post earlier, another stock I have been buying today as it shares similar technical and fundamental backdrop as Scapa, with the stock being oversold, fundamentals surprising the market, stock being hard to buy, as well as looking at forming a technical breakout (with that W chart pattern) with upside potential is FIF.

Ramp ramp ramp! ;-) Ha

I very confidently expect this to double from here within the next 12 months.
It's been massively oversold due to the Convatec contract cancellation in the Industrial division.

The algos are all over this.

Been buying here since morning, it's been a pain as there has been no stock available despite the book showing varied amount of stock. Some bonkers buying coming in on that break of 172.

Stock was oversold down from 200. The market has clearly been expecting a warning or some form of disappointing statement so that statement has caught the market off guard somewhat.

The stock has been beaten down unnecessarily down to a single digit p/e. I'd expect this to trend back up to at least 200 now. I'm unsure if there is any further corporate activity in the market which might explain the spike this afternoon, but the movement and break higher in the stock bodes well.

Scapa share price seems to be doin well. P/E ratio of 8 makes this a serious bargain. Thx Mallorca

Hi Fizzy, excellent result there! I'm holding all those you mention above too - also BVS, MCRO and PFC. Well down on GVC but still holding and anticipating big recovery in due course. Just took a nice quick profit in VRS. Top sliced my IGG at around 600p.
