From what RG said at the AGM it sounds to me like the granting of the Moditope Patent and the signing of the Moditope 'deal' are tied together and that once the patent is granted the deal will be completed.

My reason for thinking this is that RG referred to his expectation that the patent will be granted late this year / early next year, and he also indicated that he hoped funding would become available late this year early next year so that the new CEO would have the funds available to spend. This seems to strongly imply that the granting of the patent is the remaining hurdle before the funding deal is completed.

It would certainly be nice to see a patent announcement followed shortly afterwards by a deal announcement.

agema lol. As it goes events over the last few months even leave that option closed. Yeah this is to do with my criticisms of Inanaco, which I trust have been aired and no further need to discuss further. I have been very surprised at the level of criticism afforded me by TF and dstanley. TBH I much care. Glad it has been entertaining though, lol.

Oh please make up.

If not, why not go on Jeremy Kyle. To sort out your differences.?

Torquay Fan, glad you have me back on filter, as you have stated numerous times in the past. The truth of the matter is you despised the manner in which i dealt with my issues with inanaco back in those times.

As i have said many times, you see yourself as some sort of referee, the voice of reason, you are neither. Your opinions are better served voicing your own rather than attempting to discredit the worthy opinions of others.

For three years we were in regular contact, twice you visited me at home during my long illness and were privy to all my medical records, I would rather remember you for that than what has occurred in the past few months. Take Care,

Agema the point made originally (as in 12003) was IMO an important one. NOT that I believe there was any real truth in what was implied - more a case of 'puffing up' by the poster I would say. But it was a compromising line to play with.
My point should have been quietly accepted. But it wasn't !

Anyway, the filter is on here - so the Show's over !

Wanderer - as I said - just 'puffing up'.

Just the truth C7. That's all.
Move on. No need to reply on here as I'll put the filter on now because this is just silly. AND we've frightened the natives away !

Calm down and wish you a nice day

What a load of 8ollocks!!!! Completely twisted what i said to you in a private e-mail. What gain from you could i have got??

Indeed forget it, so you took what i said in a private e-mail and splashed it all over the BB. Revolting.

Move on!!!! I have ignored you since the worst of your posts months ago. All week you have been at me for supporting Balernos post about time for a new CEO. And that without ever having posted a bad word about him. That was my opinion which you chose to attack and which the very next day actually happened. Still you continued. Your behaviour is that of a very angry man, wasn"t me that started it just your sick accusations that i manipulated the BB to my illness which is even worse and deteriating every day. That support kept me going through very dark times. All because i spoke out against inanaco and challenged a few issues. You even followed me here, and now with your reputation in tatters on LSE you come crawling on here. Get a life and yes move on, just know i want no part in it.

Timbo thank you very much for those comments.
Much appreciated as always. More please.

And Lozan - I never thought I'd put a thumbs up on one of your posts again. But your 11998 - I just did.

But please could you not call the LSE Forum the M F F F ?

Timbo, thank you for the input. Interesting questions and responses.Even though Primary Bid have only been around for a short time I'm surprised that switched on professionals running an AIM listed company in need of capital were unaware of their potential. But then again, this is Scancell. Thanks again, much appreciated.

Lozan, well the BOD have been criticised for not ""talking up the share"". What you are saying is a fact and useful if you are not trading the share. I think they couldn"t have been clearer and it was hardly vague. Doubt whether you have even listened to the AGM to be honest, respect to Tosh for changing his view a bit after doing so. Very happy with my 12.39 TBH

Fancy dropping the name "elsie" for a bit?? you sound like a bitter Ugly Sister.

Interesting. Thanks Timbo.

Very interesting that the Board asked for details about the primary bid placing procedure.

Does that indicate to us that a further placing is not too far away.? The Board were certainly interested in it. Why.?

A few notes from my post-AGM discussion with RG (note this is not a verbatim account)

Q: The RNS regarding the recent placing stated that it was over-subscribed, that says to me that the price was too low, how over-subscribed was it?

A: It was around 20% oversubscribed. When we started taking about the placing, the shares were trading at around 15p, then there was a general dip in the market (probably general election related), otherwise we would probably have got the placing away at a higher price.

Q: I think most private investors realise that placings may be required from time to time, but what they do find upsetting is when there is a placing at a rock bottom price and they do not have any opportunity to participate. The broker will always discourage you from include an open offer component (they don’t make any commission on open offer money) and they will always tell you that open offers are very expensive. Have you considered using Primary Bid, which is a next best alternative to an Open Offer and everyone benefits?

Typically what happens is the broker raises around 80% of the funds required and Primary Bid looks after the remainder. The broker still gets a commission from the Primary Bid portion, (albeit at a reduced rate) and PI’s can participate under the same terms as the institutions and private clients in the main placing and they pay no dealing costs.

A: Agree with your comments regarding brokers, we were not aware of Primary Bid, it sounds interesting, please send details.

Q: Tell us more about the “adjuvant” options for Moditope, strictly speaking shouldn’t they be called something other than “adjuvant(s)” as they are covalently bound to the peptides?

A: Yes, perhaps they should be called something other than “adjuvants”. We have looked at numerous different “adjuvants” and have identified a number of different candidates which enable us to administer a much lower dose of Modi, some of these are proprietary some are not, I suspect we will end up using a proprietary “adjuvant”.

Q: Have you or will you file new IP on this?

A: If we use a proprietay “adjuvant”, that is not the intention as the IP is already covered by the “adjuvant” provider.

Q: Is the “Adjuvant” provider Allergy Therapeutics and or are they a listed company?

A: It is not provided by Allergy Therapeutics, I cannot say any more for now, details will be released at the appropriate time.

Q: Is the “Adjuvant” in any product that has received Marketing Authorisation?

A: No, Modi would be one of the first products and so it would be assisting the “adjuvant” provider with establishing POC.

Q: What about the Ichor device, is there an alternative?

A: If there was a viable alternative to Trigrid that was more patient friendly, we would definitely be looking at it, or even using it.

Q: One of the last slides shown had a bullet point about a payment to Curara, who or what is Curara and how much is the payment?

A: Curara are part of the Karolinska Institutet, the payment is for a licence to use a proprietary citrullinated enolase peptide, the payment(s) do not amount to very much.

Yes. Funding is still the deal maker or breaker.

Best wishes.
