if you have now decided that trading Scancell is the only option ...

thats fine

now as you have admitted your mistake Ruck ....

you are determined to undermine Scancell because you want to blame somebody

yet even thou you have been moaning for years you did not sell out ? in the 20p plus range

your logic by admitting you got it wrong holding (you have been saying it for years) compounded by not selling

well we will see ... at the moment your basing all your facts on a partial trial result as proof that we have it wrong

and yet ... i bought on the basis that we have the science correct and the market has it undervalued

indeed to such extent the majority of my shares because of price are in ISA ready for that explosive growth, by adding my limits every year i have not noticed the cash outflow into that saving wrapper, because I am not reliant on that money ...

Just bear this in mind Bermuda sold on the basis that the trials would be extended
in modi1 case using doublet

but actually that has taken us also into "PFS" for the other trials

Modi1 is a concept vaccine just like immunobody ...

Immunobody had already proved itself ....

which is why NO BODY could refute

"which one has failed post" scib1 or keytruda

so your mistake Gazza, is not accepting that the science is correct and piling in around the 5p mark which i did, you seem to think there has been no return
well that depends on price paid !!

MT did the same as me ... bought heavy in that range

so has he made a mistake in holding ???

ask him

Yes he's utterly failed.
His last pearl of wisdom..'under the radar' is just a meaningless phrase that pretend investors utter when they have absolutely no idea why their position is going in the wrong direction.
Everything about the underlying company is out there.....scientific progress is NOT the problem. Understanding that scientific progress is good is NOT the problem.

Actually, if you look at the criteria for investor and trader, Inan falls into the trader category. Don't forget, the investment case for Scancell was a quick sale of the company in 2012 for a 10-20 bagger. In other words, a market opportunity for a short term trade. When this did not happen, you could either accept the trade never came off and move on or hang on an hope. Many of us, including Inan, decided to hold on. This proved to be a big mistake financially. Some of us are prepared to admit this, others insist they were right and will, one day, be vindicated. So the truth is, Inan is not a smart investor, just a very bad trader.

Plas, great to see these patients still doing well.

Hopefully we get even better news with the IPI/NIVO doublet combination in the middle of the year.

well until they release all the trial results it will remain under the radar
but we are moving into that "PFS" window with Modi1 ...

it is the Gold standard for approvals

Yes gazza, you sum up how inane's problems with markets very succinctly.
He is an amateur scientist who simply can't get his head around why scientific progress in a company equates to a falling price.
So he pushes his timeline further and further back and acquires more at lower and lower prices.
He mistakenly calls it accumulation.
The real word for his non strategy is failure.

24 Nov 2024

3 years on and I’m still here! I have passed the first significant immunotherapy milestone which is 2 years of treatment. I am no longer on treatment – just watch and wait scans.

My last scan in July 2024 was 23mm. It’s been that for months now so it was definitely the right decision to stop.

I live life now not thinking much about cancer, apart from when running and cycling and I can’t keep up with the others. I console myself with thoughts like “I bet I’m the only one here (parkrun) who has cancer”. But the pragmatist in my head responds with “actually, I bet I am not!! “.

We’ve gone for huge gaps between scans. I feel comfortable with this. I am so fed-up of traipsing into the Western, Edinburgh. When we are discussing the schedule, my oncologist offers me a range of 2-3 months, when he suggests the CT scan is appropriate, and I pick the latest one. In 2024 I’ve had scans on 20th Feb, 9th July then the next one is not until Jan 2025.

I am no longer in a heightened sense of anxiety about my cancer – probably because the treatment did its stuff and the outlook looks good. But I remind myself that new growth may occur at any time.

Nasal congestion has been a problem side effect since Sept 2022. The trial vaccine Modi-1 had a positive effect on how I felt and the side effects. But the congestion has gradually got less frequent. I can’t remember the last time I was fully blocked – Aug perhaps? The dry eyes have come back a little, though.

The next target is no immune related adverse events by Jan 25. That would be the 6 month marker after stopping treatment. The longer the timespan after stopping treatment and any adverse effects occurring, then better long term outcomes are indicated. The next target after that probably Nov 2027 which is the 5 year prognosis I was given and Summer 2027 when my daughter is due to graduate from uni.

I received a phone call check-in from the Trial this week. Although no longer on treatment I'm officially still under their care.

That’s all folks!

but the cancer has not returned as per what the oncologist suggested, so this may be the case that the cancer is actually now benign cysts being picked up by the scan

the other point No new Mets ... !!

This tactic to pretend that public information cannot be discussed to give the impression that something important is happening is entirely idiotic. The post is on the macmillan cancer support website and you can find it by searching for "modi".
It is a so far so good type of post of a patient that has stopped treatment 6 months ago because there was no further shrinkage and therefore the side effects of the cpi could no longer be justified.

I see it as further evidence of stable disease with Modi-1 with and without one CPI.

Hopefully the addition of doublet works even better so Renal results in the middle of the year are eagerly awaited.

Anyone can view the post. Just type in Modi on the search box.
