When Scancell get scan results is beyond their control. They are not looking over shoulders live time it could be 2 weeks or more before they see scan results.

Just having a whinge about whoever completes the posters, there are either errors in the posters or errors in news. A tad annoying when the results are all about numbers, as a shareholder trying to read between the lines.

Anyway here goes from what I can read take from publications

Scib recruits

Nov 23

19 by the time which means all are past week 37 scan, most will be past week 49

(CIMT poster June 24)

May 24

Proactive one to one event 24 immunised.

June 1-3rd 24

ASCO poster 27 immunised BY April 24, which seems to be an error it's likely 24, error adding Keytruda 3 patients.

So if 24 by the end of April, those extra 5 are past the week 25 scan.

July 24th news

32 recruited

Sept 24th 36 recruited.

Email by Inan after a question on the forum confirms the 36 are all BMS combo not Keytruda with a comment that a few of the recruits are recent. I take recent to mean within weeks of the 24th Sept

So in numbers and scan weeks from those figures.

24 patients are past week 25 scan

8 further patients by 24th July

Meaning the last immunised patient if the day before the news would have their scan scheduled around 23rd October.

In theory they should have scan data for or pending on the last one or two (MHRA controlled) for all the 32 patients mentioned in July.

Lozan seriously ... if you are supplying the Drax power station with wood pellets your market of drying wood for capital growth may have merit !

As is, you can only talk about "other peoples money" and how to invest it because you have none

your last trade was about 8 years ago ...

why not retire and enjoy the coming "latent heat events" as the chill moves in

The British are uniquely risk-averse: over half of employees say a fear of failure is deterring them from setting up their own venture – a fifth higher than in other countries.

then if you are successful you get attacked ...

you get told "how to invest"

by people who trade in "other peoples money"

those indoctrinated into this way of thinking cannot work it out for themselves because they are unable to quantify risk

especially in a stock like Scancell which is all about the science

with the monopoly of "unmet need" in other words a win, is a Guarantee of sales

if you do make it ....

then you get told you are greedy .....

and because you have the broadest shoulder you should pay more while those calling for it put there feet up

This country is an aspiration Killer

and if you think Politics has no role here .... well you could be right

well we had this conversation before ....

and you could not answer

what will the share price be next year at the time of any capital raise

as you are expecting to raise in excess of £100m ...ie the current Mcap then you will have considered this

what i am surprised at even if we doubled the shares to 2 billion which would pay for an "approved drug" with an income of $1.5 billion

you value the share at just over 1 x income against a cost base of a vaccine that is no more expensive to make than a Flu vax

so your Risk understanding is worthless !!

you cannot even quantify .....

Inan, "when I ask what is the risk they cannot answer .."Not true, I'll can tell you exactly what the risks are. Could you please get into your head that acknowledging risk does not mean it is "risky". You have consistently failed to understand this which is not helping. I consider the risk of adverse reactions are low. This is based on the science and the clinical trial results. I consider the risk of it not working low. This is based on the ORR of 85% achieved in the first 13 patients. For me, the biggest risk is that there will need to be dilution to get where we need to be. Personally I am allowing for 100% dilution. This will mean I get £1 per share rather than £2. So what? I would be overjoyed to get £1.

Its Good to see Ruckrover Ramping the sector ....

Seems Investing in what some would call Risky Assets is a badge of Honour ....

thus "look at me i invest in Risk" so perpetuate the concept

"By the fool logic, all small biotechs are investable."

Well they are right - there are many investors who circumstances would rule out investments of this nature. They are only an investment for those who understand the risks, prepared to accept those risks and only invest what they are prepared to lose. What MF are advocating is sound financial advice. Everyone who is in love with a share thinks their's is different but really they are not.

Some patients even show complete tumour regression, though it’s premature to discuss cures as follow-up has been for only six months

Our current focus is on iSCIB1+, a second-generation vaccine designed to be more inclusive and effective.
This broader coverage will enhance commercial viability and improves patient outcomes. We’ve fine-tuned the targeting mechanisms, anticipating an even stronger response rate and durability, consistent with the original vaccine’s goals of safety and efficacy.

if you do then you will understand why "no Risk" applied to the MCAP with "SCIB1"

that goes back to the results from the first trial so approx 2015

what has happened since has only enhanced the potential Value

yea Mia understood "No Risk" Marcus

because of the intrinsic value of SCIB1

and even now if Genmab is successful ...

fact is despite all the evidence of the potential, despite all the expansion scancell has done to accommodate a registrational trial

People still sell ....

From small PI who get bored to Calculus because of 5 year reset

meanwhile Scancell has not stopped the research ...

example to take 1 MAB to clinic has taken Genmab 2 years October 2022

so while the share bobs about a bit Scancell has been taking product to clinic ready

and is creating a pipeline ....

what you don't know is what else are they doing !

Adding another numbers fact based on news.

For Scancell to suggest 27 hit in Q4.

24 by end of May, 8 more up to 24th July.

To hit 27, the minimum they would need from the 24 would be 19, 19 of 24 is 79%.

Then they would need 100% of the last 8 to make the Q4 prediction, which of course they wouldn’t forecast if 100%?was needed.

20/24 83%
21/24 87.5%

6/8 75%
7/8 87.5%

So logically (numbers) they have been running at a minimum of 81-85% ORR.

27/32 is 84%
28/32 is 87.5%

So clearly they expect a minimum of around the 85% mark which was previously described as exceptional 11/13.

So from what they have said in numbers adds up to exceptional phase 2 results pending at which point Scancell are going to be shouting loudly about it, worldwide.

All 32 have now had their first scan.

Keep up the good work Mia.

I rarely read over on LSE but dropped on it during a search.

It’s full of misinformation, including from some claiming to be experts. Their claims are at odds with reality at times, so they are either incompetent, or just plain lying to manipulate things.

Fortunately Mia voice is banging the drum with the correct information.

Scib numbers

It’s quite simple.

By the end of May, 24 (as listed in a presentation) had been immunised, all of those are past the week 19 scan.

From the end of May to 24th July (news of 32) a further 8 had been immunised. 8 over 8 weeks. If the last one of 32 had their jab in the days before 24th July then their scan was due about 10 days or so ago. It can take up to two weeks or more for Scancell to get scan data.

To count as a responder (as pointed out by Miavoice) it’s at any point, EG week 13 the first scan.

At the AGM they repeated that results expected Q4.

So taking waiting on 2 or 3 patient scan results, these last few weeks. It would mean 25 responders (83/86%) in 29/30 so far for them to be able to suggest news Q4 (27 responders)

If the above is not near correct then Scancell could not make the Q4 forecast.
