I don't disagree with that Marcus. On the other hand, Covidity represents a potential rabbit to be pulled from the hat in the near term. The government is clearly going to support/back new vaccines - but which? One would hope that British companies will be looked on favourably, all else equal. But the Modi-1 trial news is also important.....and I doubt that patient presentations will be much delayed by Covid.

I think the main value is in Moditope, Immunobody, Avidimab and the mABS/ADCs.

Hopefully the next couple of weeks marks the end of the peak of absenteeism due to testing positive and we can get our trials motoring once again.

I suspect that we are at the point of maximum boredom for 2022 re newsflow from Scancell.....but that, in practice, there is huge activity going on in the background.Of course, we are still waiting for news on two trials this month - with an update on the 26th - but I'd think there will also be lab news on the effectiveness of Covidity re Omicron. And then there is the question of UK government policy re better vaccines, which are now clearly on their radar (though, equally clearly, undetermined at this point) as evidenced by the Theresa May exchange with Boris Johnson yesterday.I expect a lot of news in the next few months....and quite a bit of comment about the role of T-cells. Fingers crossed.

An Indiana insurance executive dropped a bombshell statistic during an end-of-year virtual news conference, reporting a “stunning̶1; 40% increase in the death rate among 18- to 64-year-old adults compared to pre-pandemic levels.

During the same call, OneAmerica’s CEO Scott Davison also described a major uptick in both short- and long-term disability claims.

The insurance executive rated the extraordinarily high death rate as “the highest … we have seen in the history of this business,” adding the trend is “consistent across every player in that business.”

To further underscore the import of his statements, Davison said, “Just to give you an idea of how bad [40%] is, a … one-in-200 catastrophe would be a 10% increase over pre-pandemic. So 40% is just unheard of.”

Contrary to what the public might assume — given the media’s unremitting coverage of COVID-19 — Davison reported most of the death claims listed causes of death other than COVID.

Gecko & Gazza, the 40% increase in deaths this year as announced by American Insurance companies just happens to very conveniently coincide with the jab roll out. There was no such occurrence in 2020 before the roll out. Dr Ryan Cole of america's Frontline doctor's stated several months ago " I have never seen an increase in Cancers that I am seeing now ". Gazza as for your immune system , Gecko and I have been stating for ages and quoting peer reviewed Doctor's and Scientists that the vaccinated immune systems are being shot to pieces.

For Covid, yes.
For everything else, Cancers etc a resounding NO.

I'm sceptical as to just how far this incremental damage has gone - it's only incremental after all, but cumulatively, especially for the elderly with already weakened immune systems it could be severe.

The 40% surge in deaths between 18-64 might be some indication of the storms ahead mentioned by that Insurance CEO. Who knows.

All I can say, anecdotally, is an awful lot of family and friends and relatives of friends seemed to have developed one cancer or another over the last year or so.

Personally I put that more down to lifestyle, and the food consumed(much of it sprayed with chemicals) but who is to know.

Time will out the truth though.

TF, you are very quick to demonise and castigate people as anti-vaxxers. I asked you to define an anti-vaxxer, I see you have failed to respond. Let me see if I can help you : 1 ) Is it someone who as a child had a measles, chicken pox, tb vax but does not want the Covid vax. 2 ) Is it someone who as an adult for travelling purposes has had ythe dengue, yellow fever vax but does not want the Covid vax. 3 ) Is it someone that has had vaccines in the past and has had a severe adverse reaction that does not want the Covid vax. 4 ) Is it someone who took the first 2 jabs of the Covid vax but does not want to take anymore. 5 ) Is it someone who has taken the Covid 19 booster vax but does not want to take any more. 6 ) Is it someone who has a valid medical exemption that does not want to take the Covid vax. 7 ) Is it someone with a valid religious exemption that does not want to take the Covid vax. Last but not least is it someone who does not want to participate in the largest human medical experiment ever carried out in contravention of the 10 articles of the Nuremburg code who does not want to take the Covid vax.

CDC admits 61% of teens Hspitilized for Covid 19 had severe obesity. Remind me again at the governments media presentations how often they mention good health. When they locked the public in their houses and allowed them out for an hour did they ever encourage people to go out for that hour and do some exercise and get fresh air and meet up with someone for their mental health. quite the opposite they frowned upon it with the aid of the Media.

If I didn't believe in Scancell I wouldn't be invested would I? Neither would you.
Your comment "you don't have to believe in Scancell" is untrue - you do if you are an investor.

The point is, no matter how compelling the science, how lucrative the potential - if you don't trust the company (as represented by the board of directors) you wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.
