Posted at 19/4/2024 07:59 by wanna brew Folks ... it's Earth Day on Monday. Wonder if, SAV can time a positive announcement, accordingly. |
Posted at 17/4/2024 10:14 by ged5 Yes, I looked in briefly yesterday afternoon and wondered why the share price went up. That's still a good sized buy. And yes IB it is only 1.828B today and 1.830B tomorrow when the CEO's bonus shares are admitted. There were also a couple of chunky sells once the share price went up that's why it came back down, Reba. Looks like we can expect some positive press after yesterday's tweet as well as some news in the next few weeks. "#SAV was delighted to welcome @SICNoticias and Kathleen Araújo at our Boticas Information Centre for an interview with our CEO, Emanuel Proença. We had the chance to discuss the important role the Project (#BLP) can play for the local community and its role in driving progress for Portugal and Europe as an essential critical raw materials project for #energytransition. We also highlighted #SAV's dedication to responsibly developing and operating the Project, ensuring that it upholds rigorous environmental and social standards." Didn't the same outfit film a western type movie in Boticas some years ago? |
Posted at 10/4/2024 09:22 by ged5 Looking at yesterday's announcement a little disheartened to read that the court case continues even if it was wrapped up in the positive noise about work being allowed to continue. It's this bit of nonsense that has kept a lid on the share price Results for exploration companies never a great thing but there has been a lot going on this past year. I couldn't help but feel from the rest of the RNS that at last there's hope on the horizon (Ha! that was unintentional). SAV seem to be making progress with local landowners Drilling is continuing Assay results to be announced Resource update on NOA later this month (20 days left this month) Work on the processing plant progressing well The Iberian Wolf has moved on (if it was ever there) Further work in preparation for the EIA Work with the community Part of Horizon GoldenRam, Exceed and LiTHOS projects And finally a CEO who says we can expect regular news flow. Well that's a lot of good news. |

Posted at 12/3/2024 10:23 by inbrackets Opportune timing of a good set of drill results, likely to take the BLP over the 50mt mark when resource upgrades come out (if not immediately then earmarked for the future).Looking at the woeful state of the other EU based hopefuls, today's results should make SAV stand out at the Benchmark Giga Europe conference in Stockholm that started a couple of hours ago.More flesh being put on the bones and gaining weight. |
Posted at 12/3/2024 07:41 by goodday1 Oscar1210, Posts: 94, Price: 2.16RE: More big buys, Today 07:30 on LSE.Considering sav and others are being investigated for corruption Regarding the mine etcSav being innocent of all charges -we think-.There's certainly been a nod and a wink regarding these resultsCould have made it less obvious with yesterday's trades.--We are innocent until proven......We should be whiter than white, however, yesterday's trades stinks. It is Aim after all.Slowly slowly.Gl all |
Posted at 10/3/2024 09:35 by inbrackets I haven't read the article, but if it points the finger at SAV then it is quite wrong. If it looks to taint SAV by association then equally, I hope the company looks to take it up and fight its corner. |

Posted at 08/11/2023 11:26 by ukgeorge Savannah Resources* (SAV LN) 2.7p, Mkt Cap £50m – State prosecutor statement commentsBUY – 21.1p The Company released a statement relating to a corruption investigation regarding government officials that led to a resignation by PM Antonio Costa yesterday. Investigation is related to: A project for a hydrogen energy production plant in Sines; The data centre construction project developed in the Sines Industrial and Logistics Zone; Lithium exploitation concessions 'in the Romano (Montalegre) and do Barroso (Boticas)'. Savannah confirmed that investigating officials visited its offices in Portugal and the team fully cooperated with the agents. The team reports that the Company and any of its directors or employees are not targets of the investigation. Additionally, the Company reported that its operations on the ground continued unaffected. Conclusion: Corruption allegations regarding grant of lithium licenses in northern Portugal is set to challenge investors’ confidence in the region in the short term but will ultimately help accountability of state officials and create a more pro-business environment. We have no reasons to doubt the integrity of the team and the company as Savannah has gone through a comprehensive environmental approval process and has always taken a transparent approach to dealing with government officials and local communities. While potential changes in APA (the environmental agency) management may delay the permitting process, the Company is reporting that operations continue unaffected so far. *SP Angel acts as Nomad and Broker to Savannah Resources |
Posted at 06/11/2023 23:10 by inbrackets Just wondering on a re-read: which is it?"The Process is now focused on engaging with a short-list of potential strategic partners both willing and able to assist with the Project's future development and financing, and which also bring complementary skills or additional opportunities to Savannah"Or a few lines on...""The next task is to carefully analyse and evaluate all the proposals received and identify those parties who are not only willing to support Savannah"Engage with a short list or evaluate all? Or is that evaluate from all on the short list? In which case, maybe not quite as long a process as might be imagined.I was also taken with the exclusivity clause. Can't say that I know whether this is standard disclosure or positioning but "acting exclusively for Savannah and no one else in connection with the Process and will not be responsible to anyone other than Savannah for providing the protections afforded to clients of Barclays nor for providing advice in relation to the Process or any other matter referred to in this Announcement." Does this mean that they can pick and choose against their own existing customers/clients - and I ask myself if there is no doubt an option afforded to all manner of minnow client hopefuls. If you are known by your associates, these two wave a good flag for recent moves in Australia and might help to get folk to look at SAV more than a passing comment in some tipster press. |
