He cut ties with a previous equity funder, he is well aware of the damaging impact they generally have on the share price. Fingers crossed.

I would just try to raise as much as possible to get all of these projects accelerated. Most raises to date have added value, not just gone to pay director salaries. Try and raise 5-10mm.

An imminent placing would certainly explain the selling Ged. There's a lot going on so it wouldn't be surprising if they'd like a bit more dosh. I've been hoping that a sale of the Finnish assets might do the trick but that's probably wishful thinking.

Yet another interview from Directors Talk on the website this morning, hiddendepths. With the drift in SP, it makes one wonder if another placing is about to be announced.

On the other hand the chart is ripe for a reversal.

Hmm, short term choices!

Thanks IB. I forgot some investors read Shares Magazine. They've done some good articles about SAV.

None of them do Manchester any more. Proactive used to but I don't think there was enough support. I used to enjoy them.

Ged, hi. I understand it's a week on Thursday. Promoted by AJ Bell, can't remember off hand which hotel but definitely in the City. It's a half hour slot running alongside a couple of other companies. 6pm to 8.30/9 pm. I haven't googled it but presume it will pop up if sought for.

Will someone who posts on the LSE please inform Muldoon that David Price is mentioned on page 4 of the last investor presentation. I understand that he's well thought of within the company.

Being exploration manager in Oman, he should know a thing or two about the assets there. Looking forward to his presentation.

Am I the only one who doesn't know about a forthcoming investor evening? Details please!

Going back to the first of yesterday's tweets which linked to the CNBC article

"But trading lithium is no easy task.

"There's very few ways to play the space. You've got to provide investors with the opportunity to play this revolution that's happening in the transportation business and energy business," Paes-Braga said.

Traders can buy the physical metal but there is not yet a single lithium commodities exchange in existence."

Remember this from post 89
"Matt Chamberlain Chief Exec of LME was talking on Sky News earlier. Expects to launch Lithium exchange within next 12-18 months."

Come on CNBC you could have mentioned this. Stay informed and read this thread (or watch Sky News). ;))

Good grief! If they can do all that in two and a half minutes why has it taken a month to get to this stage? ;)

Not sure about the music though!

Thanks for your reply, IB.

I see we have our long awaited update from Oman. It looks like permits are progressing nicely with final approvals in December and production still on revised target.

I would have liked a resource update but that can wait for another day.

Focus now on Moz. Progress being made with the processing plant - nice pictures tweeted over the weekend.

We should also have updates from Portugal this quarter, so we should have an exciting end to the year.

Good news, looks like we're on for the Omani MLs this Q, that'll set them up for production next year. Great to see them making "solid progress".

Ed.

With Copper set to explode i have Put together some info on #GEO which is well worth researching over the weekend. GEO has £4.5m in cash (enough to take them to production) and BOD have bought £100k's of shares in the open market previously so they are aligned with share holders.

"Our twin objectives for 2017 are to report a 3 to 5 Mt copper and gold resource and to commence low cost production to be processed at our JV partner's neighbouring operations. We are on course to meet both objectives..."

GEO are looking at proving up 50mt and it looks like that may well be blown out of the water as the resource looks much bigger then originally thought.
50mT at 1% gives 500,000 tonnes of copper. Copper at $3/lb = $6.62/kg=$6,620/tonne

6,620x500,000= $3.31 billion

50% ownership so that become $1.655 billion

$=0.75£

$1.655billlion=£1.24 billion

Lets assume a modest 50% recovery and a 25% profit margin.

1.24x0.5x0.25=£;155m

Even with my ludicrously conservative assumptions and excluding the gold cap, this company is sitting on an asset at 5 x the current share price and production is likely to commenceg in the coming months.

John Meyer, twice winner of the UK Smaller Mining Analyst of the Year. He picks Georgian as his top copper pick and describes GEO as "the next SOLG" SOLG market cap is £500m!!

John Meyer, analyst at share price Angel, looks at his picks including Glencore, Rio Tinto, Georgian Mining and SolGold.

This is what is being indicated by the BOD.
"Although work to date has focused on three zones as separate areas,
recent results suggest that they coalesce to form a large epithermal
copper-gold system"

Now that would be HUGE!!! "A large epithermal
copper-gold system"

GEO with its vast resources,no capex outlay for a mine, plenty of cash in hand Leading to a more or less debt free flying start to a rolling income equating to a minimum price target of 60pps+ based on available information with a million ton throughput for copper followed almost at the same time by gold?
Is 60pps too conservative in view of the increasing copper and gold prices?

we are awaiting in a strong news rich transformational period for the company and await results of the 28 assay results, JV production agreement, production starting date.

The project is derisked now. It is going to be mined and no capex needed!!
Remember the company have previously described their find as a "world class discovery"

John Meyer also said in one of these interviews that " this will be in hundreds of millions if not more"

Multibagger in the making here and all very close

All thoughts are mine and helped by others posters snipets.

I have been looking in to buying an ev and it occurred to me with the need for the fast charging stations which will reportedly being put in supermarkets, motorway services etc these will need a large electricity supply with all the countries now moving towards evs in the future there is going to be a large demand for large electric cables which will require large amounts of copper. All the focus seems to be on lithium but I think copper which has gone up around 30% in the last year could go a lot higher as demand inevitably increases.
