21/8/2017 13:39 | Thanks IB! 29-6-15 RNS and 11-10-16 RNS together with above give a comprehensive background to today's announcement. Not sure what the Oct 17 announcement will say! :-) | ged5
21/8/2017 12:10 | Not sure you need to go back quite as far as you have Ged. Last statement on the un-owned 20% was in the announcement of the RT Consortium October? 2017.Interesting bit to understand is the agreement to cancel the second tranche of deferred payment. | inbrackets
21/8/2017 10:23 | From 9th September 2013 RNS The remaining 20% shareholding will be free carried until the point of decision to carry out a Definitive Feasibility Study. When this point is reached the 20% shareholder can either: (i) contribute in proportion to his shareholding at that time; (ii) become diluted in accordance with a pre-determined methodology; or (iii) sell his shareholding pro rata to the Project value; So has that point of decision arrived? :-) | ged5
21/8/2017 09:21 | Always good to see you posting here IB but yes we are in August. ;) A little more tidying up before any significant news from Mozambique. I need to remind myself exactly how this affects us! | ged5
20/8/2017 19:08 | Ged, forget previous post. Just seen the date and having missed summer, saw 16th but July passed me by again. | inbrackets
20/8/2017 15:20 | Ged, hi.You will have been busy if you have been researching and listening to some of RR or Marin Katusa reports.Meanwhile back to matters in hand. This would seem to be written by someone from Yes Minister as it seems to be saying that they are signing a contract to implement the mining strategy when it was only but a few weeks ago they had been commissioned for a report that might be about six months. Will this prompt a trickle of news or comment? | inbrackets
20/8/2017 12:18 | I can't believe it's just over 7 weeks to the next mining conference in Muscat. Some good words but let's have some action. | ged5
20/8/2017 11:28 | Interesting to note what's going on with Alara in Oman:- | ged5
19/8/2017 15:21 | Thanks Yorkie! I've edited post 51 to correct the name and added the link to the article in the header. Now I must go and find out about this Rick Rule fella. :) | ged5
19/8/2017 11:56 | Ged, Katusa is as big as Rick Rule in the mining space in the USA..... | yorkie14
19/8/2017 11:54 | There you go Ged, it's Marin Katusa..... hxxps://katusaresear | yorkie14
19/8/2017 11:03 | I notice the SAV website has revamped the Webcast and Media section. It now includes interviews from Directors Talk. From the last interview I noted a few points. David Archers excitement levels seem to reach a new level when talking about Portugal. His comment on Oman - "Working on economice evaluations for project development". Series of update announcements over the coming weeks. No mention of Finland. Highly Geared I note there was mention on LSE of Marin Katusa's newsletter on copper. You need to register. I've not read it yet nor do I know who he is, so I can't comment. I'm sure you'll be in profit soon. I just hope these low prices last a while longer! | ged5
17/8/2017 19:30 | With copper price recovery , surely SAV is in a sweet spot with production slated in Oman for 2018. A positive announcement on permits will surely get this moving north? Moz is a monster in the making, then there's lithium , the new "oil". Great assets and a BOD with serious skin in the game. My timing in buying around 6p doesn't look great at the moment but I'd hope to see 20p-25p sometime 2018-19 | highly geared
17/8/2017 10:23 | Sorry Yorkie, you need to be a premium member to moderate threads and I cancelled my membership last year. Just filter the time wasters. It looks like folks can't wait for the announcements in a few weeks as mentioned in the interview. Still very low volume. | ged5
16/8/2017 14:23 | Ged, can you block timw3 from posting spam across the web site as it is your thread. thanks Yorkie | yorkie14
14/8/2017 22:05 | Heads up Seller cleared at AAOG... $800m spud in 4 weeks!! AAOG without doubt in play now seller out with that 1m sell printed after hours. Fincapp valuations: Mengo hit 750bopd - £70m MCAP - £1 Djeno hit 10k bopd - £750m MCAP - £10 So £11 potential vs 28p share price Current market cap is only £10m once cash is stripped out. £10m cap vs $1billion potential... No brainer at these levels. 60p+ target at least prior to spud in 4 weeks | timw3
14/8/2017 20:52 | A rather "who cares" reaction on the share price , which is a shame. Summer lull and all that. | broncowarrior
14/8/2017 11:01 | Thanks ddubzy. Link now in the header. | ged5
14/8/2017 10:16 | The story continues to develop - at least the lack of price action allows the building of a decent stake at very cheap prices. | ianbag
14/8/2017 10:02 | The story of Mozambique development from SAV tweets I couldn't remember when the pilot plant was first mentioned so I went through the SAV tweets. Thought I'd share. 27th Feb pilot plant arrives on construction site - 9 x 40ft containers - ready for assembly and commissioning. 27 Feb Hi grade HMS up to 10.5% in #Ravene drilling - multiple hi grade zones - best zone 3.5km long and up to 1.5km wide. 6th Mar Tenders called for the erection and commissioning of the 20 tph #mineralsands pilot plant now on site at #Mutamba Project in #Mozambique. 27 Mar 26% ↑ in #Mutamba Project global Mineral Resource to 4.4Bt @ 3.9% THM with addition of 0.9Bt @ 4.1% THM from Ravene. 14/8/2017 07:43 | Getting serious in Moz now, different scale to what we have seen before. What happens when partnered with a big dog like RIO. | broncowarrior
12/8/2017 11:48 | I invested here because of the copper and Oman should be a company maker in its own right. Copper should be in a sweet spot in the cycle as SAV goes into production and the Omani's have a vested stake. The Lithium is a big bonus Archers stake is also real skin in the game. A slow burn maybe but a great company with a great spread of assets. | highly geared
12/8/2017 10:36 | Well said Ged - I suppose the longer it stays at this level and then if assay grades are good and share price still doesn't move then then value must out at some point you would think - even if its a takeover approach. | ianbag
12/8/2017 10:12 | Very kind of you to say Bronco! I sometimes wonder if it's worth doing any research when you see several overvalued companies about. Perhaps we just need a wealthy syndicate backing us, as they appear to be doing elsewhere. We are no worse in terms of assets and potential or indeed lack of income than some companies with 3-4 times our market cap. I don't begrudge those companies, I just want the same here. Perhaps the Omani and Mozambique government will stop messing about playing at being important and do something useful! :) | ged5 |
