14/9/2018 15:10 | I think you are entirely incorrect A5. If/when the 7 deal lands you wont see 25p for dust. Rumors of Chinese and Indian interest too should put a floor under the share price You place your bets you takes you chance. I see this level as being good value. | ifthecapfits
14/9/2018 15:05 | Until they test the well and prove that's it commercial the selling will carry on. Also, as we all know, there is a forced seller. If SAVP hit a duster you could see it fall by another 10% easy. Why buy know? Even a stick, and untested again, will have little effect on the share price... | alamaison5
14/9/2018 11:09 | We get a mention in this weeks moneyweek ".......the shares offer big potential upside for investors willing to stomach the high risk of exposure to volatile oil prices". | ifthecapfits

13/9/2018 09:47 | Looks like the BOTs might be taking hold of this share - lots of 'A' trades showing. | ifthecapfits

12/9/2018 17:57 | Who are CGSB? | xxnjr1
12/9/2018 15:26 | They didn’t mention Nigeria???? The CGSB, one of the world's oil giants, is going to have a series of meetings with the British explorer in Niamey, London and New Delhi by the end of this month, with the aim of achieving a partnership through which the CGSB will buy shares in the R1 / R2 and R3 / R4 license areas of Savannah in Niger and, possibly, in the Uquo and Stubb Creek fields in Nigeria, it has been learned. | nen2319

12/9/2018 14:24 | We need a bidding war now ....... Savannah Petroleum I don’t normally comment on articles in local newspapers but the avalanche of inbound very recently from various sources in Niger leads me to write something. The papers are suggesting that a number of companies may be in discussions with SAVP with regard to farming-in to its Agadem Basin discoveries as well as possibly buying in to the company’s Uquo and Stubb Creek fields in Nigeria. These companies include Indian NOC ONGC, who has been linked with the area for a long time and Sinopec as well as Chines companies Sinopec and Zhenhua. Whilst I havent spoken to SAVP it has always been on the agenda for them and it wouldn’t surprise me at all if one of these ‘stories’ if they did it would prove up the significant value which the market has yet to crystallise, watch this space… Malcy's Blog: Oil price, President Energy, Echo Energy, Savannah Petroleum, Genel, IGas, Chariot And finally... 12/9/2018 11:38 | Borrowed from the other thread - thanks! great news if true. ECONOMY Chinese and Indians under discussion to join Savannah capital following discovery of oil deposits in the Agadem Basin 66.4k Shares Share Tweet Share Posted on Tuesday September 11th, 2018 | Niamey and the 2 days hopes © Other press by DR Nigerian people's hopes on natural resources Help, our oil pledged! How Oil research in Niger is increasingly fruitful, which attracts greed. In fact, following the discovery of four oil deposits in the Agadem Basin, Indian and Chinese companies are currently negotiating with British independent explorer Savannah Petroleum, who has already started drilling a fifth well. To integrate its capital, we learned from a source close to Savannah. These include the ONGC (Oïl and Natural Gas Corporation) and the Chinese oil company Zhenhua who have already undertaken, according to some sources, discussions with Savannah for a partnership for the management and production of oil in Niger . It must be remembered that the British company has been cleared by the Nigerian government to start producing oil by the end of this year. And with regard to the Chinese oil company Zhenhua, she met, according to the same sources, officials of Savannah Petroleum in the presence of officials of the Ministry of Oil, at the last China-Africa forum. During their discussions, these personalities discussed the prospect for the Chinese company to participate in the management of the R1 / R2 and R3 / R4 blocks. Also, Sinopec, another Chinese organization, wants to take a stake in the four discoveries already made. | ifthecapfits
12/9/2018 10:59 | Marvelous if true. | ifthecapfits
12/9/2018 10:58 | Definitely interesting news and some very, very high profile companies mentioned From 20/8/18 post - '…. You have to take into account what effect new money could/will do for the company? Diversify into additional ssets ? (in turn generating more value or cash if production) Potential money from Asma of $30m + $60m = $90m. Potential exercise of institutional warrants = $60m. Possibility of $150m - $250m Niger farmout and whether they want or need it ? (but doesn't do any harm to derisk, ie take in some cash without all your eggs in one basket there, given there's a huge 2.8 billion bls risked number to go for. You could apply some of that cash to somewhere/something else. All of the above is $300m - $450m potential new money not counting possible borrowing potential of perhaps up to $100m+ (possible cash availability up to $400-$500m). Cash value alone could be worth the current share price. That's why i think AK meant by having plenty of corpporate options or similar to that affect. In turn if the transaction is signed off that will provide up to $100m/yr cash flow. That cash flow and early start up of production in Niger would more than likely finance all of Savps drilling in Niger. Drilling another 25 wells in Niger is about $100m minimum to the sokor alternances without flow testing them all. Possibly another $20m+ on 3D and i would expect the EPS up and running from borrowing while it in turn generates revenue. That might eat up $150m minimum of the farm out if it happens. Cost of ongoing wells expensed on a 50-50 basis if it was 50% farmout. ' | zengas

11/9/2018 14:19 | xxnjr1 - judging by the thanks I got from one of the gathered I get the impression that SAVP was a sponsor. So it would not have been entirely free. But yes, it was nice to get some return on my investment here. | haideralifool
11/9/2018 13:04 | Thanks for that HaiderAli. Sounds like I missed a few (free?) Gin and Tonics, or maybe even some local AFR tipples! | xxnjr1
11/9/2018 10:54 | It was on the HoC terrace, which is narrow. So most people would only get a side on view. People were standing, with drinks in hand. It was more a social, flag-waving exercise, no slides. There were representatives from various African countries', embassies and consulates and UK trade people and politicians. But if anyone managed to buttonhole him afterwards, they likely got some good quality facetime. I managed to corner Jay B. of Amminex at an investor event a few weeks ago and it offered more 1:1 grilling time than you'd get at an AGM. | haideralifool |
