28/7/2017 08:34 | Yes, I think we have to accept that this is a land-grab situation and cash from operations would be too slow. It's a shame that no figures are given on the potential of Fixed Wireless in the UK.It's good that a substantial Placing is underway at no discount, seems quite unusual these days? Also that 40% of the acquisition cost is in shares, so industry-insiders Quick. must also be believers. Also Management putting in £110k.Otherwise the pace of acquisitions is slowing with only £2m put aside for 2-3 bolt-ons over the next six months; that is also welcomed by me.Cheers, tightfist | tightfist
28/7/2017 08:25 | I'm with you Haus, time is of essence and take the opportunities whilst they're there, be here yeas otherwise. Ramp - If you want some shares at 7p buy in the market ! Might even get some at 7p whilst they're at this level. All in all more great work and executing the plan spelled out, look forward to hearing more about the bolt on acquisitions . | dirty75
28/7/2017 07:44 | I don't expect they can wait, must be a bit of a land grab around broadband services now, wait and opportunities will be gone.I like this acquisition, makes a lot of sense for SAT to expand fixed wireless provision and become leading non-fibre provider, in UK and beyond. | hausofmaus
28/7/2017 07:38 | I can see the rationale of this deal. But returns for PIs are kicked down the line with new issues and debt. I would like them to grow the business first and pay for acquisitions out of free cash flow. | weatherman
28/7/2017 07:34 | Quite a lot to take with the new capital raise and don't see any opportunity for pi's to participate RM | rampmeister
13/7/2017 21:08 | The BOD wouldn't ever consider a bid not in double. figures. 12p would be minimum sell out. | oohrogerpalmer
13/7/2017 16:33 | I don't think the BoD are ready to let go yet........ Plenty more value to add! | tightfist
13/7/2017 10:41 | This will be bought out at this level I think. | a2584728
11/7/2017 16:35 | The Investor links open fine on my laptop but NOT on my iPad. Hope that helps! | tightfist
11/7/2017 16:25 | I think you must be living up to your name. I can see it OK. | ditchsid
11/7/2017 13:16 | Am I the only shareholder who , on going to the " Investor Relations " section of the website of SSW , and on pressing on " RNS and Investor News " , and then pressing on today's RNS , is unable to obtain any further information ? I am not aware of any problem withy either my computer or my internet connection . I had the same problem two or three months ago and sent an e-mail to the company which manages their investor relations , but don't seem to have ever received a reply . | mrnumpty
11/7/2017 12:25 | Looking back to this period in 2016 we had the large 6p placing at end July, one month before the Interims at end August. At this point some news on acquisition strategy/funding must surely be imminent, and I would not be surprised if 2016 events are repeated! One wonders if they could get another large placing away at/close-to the current price. Is the recent large Candy?/ii transaction a precursor? | tightfist
10/7/2017 13:26 | Thanks to Gonedown for your reply . It's always regarded as unfair on paying subscribers if one quotes an entire article concerning a share , but the essence of the latest comment by Simon Thompson in the Investors Chronicle ( " Four small-Cap buys " , 7th July - 13th July ) is " Buy " at 7.25p , and he writes that " I feel my target price of 10.5p is not unreasonable and I rate the shares a buy ahead of the half-yearresults ' . Good luck and , as ever , do your own research . Mr. N. | mrnumpty
10/7/2017 10:20 | At 9.43.56 I topped up with 3349 shares showed as saleMany of these must be buys. All the best, Gone. | gonedown
10/7/2017 09:20 | AT 8.41 this morning , I topped up with a purchase of 20,000 SSW shares at 7.60p . This is wrongly shown , at least on the Hargreaves Lansdown site , as a sale . | mrnumpty
04/7/2017 12:59 | Thanks mfhmfh | glaws2
03/7/2017 12:08 | Just been tipped by Simon Thompson, hence the sudden flurry of buying. He has a buy rating and 10.5p target. | x54v
30/6/2017 07:10 | More product. Sounds good to me. Can only head one way | a2584728
27/6/2017 07:49 | Yes, a good update and on the face of it all is well. However, just taken a look at Stockopedia and it seems a fresh forecast has been issued in the last three weeks, I had missed that. Although the forecast FY revenue is up £2.5m (and consistent with H1) eps has been slashed to a forecast PER of 106!Before I look further, any comments anyone? I hope it's to do with the reporting obscurity mentioned here a few weeks ago....Cheers, tightfist | tightfist
27/6/2017 07:26 | Good update | izztre
20/6/2017 17:00 | Like many shareholders in SSW , I remember only too well the dreadful day , March 20th , when we all expected the RNS providing the annual prelims at 7.00am ( the usual time for RNSs ) , but didn't receive it until 4.00pm that day . Whereas I had presumed that the share price would rise with the good news , the huge uncertainty caused by the delay caused the shares to start a long descent , which prompted me to sell up several weeks ago . However , inspired by the departure of Candy and the arrival of Mills , I bought back my previous holding today at about 7.5p , so hopefully I shall be one of just many ! Incidentally , only a few days after the March 20th debacle , Mr. Walwyn ( CEO ) phoned me from a motorway service station at exactly the time agreed and we talked about the Company for about fifteen minutes , and it was I who , running out of questions , initiated the end of the phone call . He was very remorseful about the failure to release the RNS on 20th March at 7.00am and made it abundantly clear that the board would never repeat that mistake . By the way , I notice that Simon Thomson of Investors' Chronicle tipped SSW as a " Buy " on 27/3/2017 when the mid-price was 8.25p . Good luck all . | mrnumpty
16/6/2017 15:02 | thats super news. Be nice to see 9p + again soon and we should do as i am sure there will be plenty of buying in the market now. | dirty75
16/6/2017 14:52 | email from Walbrook PR... "Renowned fund manager Christopher Mills has taken a 10.63% stake in satellite broadband company Satellite Solutions Worldwide (AIM: SAT). The investment is via Oryx International Growth Fund Limited and Harwood Capital LLP, which has over £1.1 funds billion under management." | hausofmaus
15/6/2017 17:04 | Wow, interesting development... guess this at least will trigger an RNS! | hausofmaus |
