Well I was wrong, they have pulled a rabbit out of a hat. Everything looks good, no idea how they managed it, but good on them

Well, that appears to be good news for the project if they can secure the funding before this time and settle all of their creditors and provide a positive note for the Shareholders. It is the Shareholders and Creditors who have suffered the most here. In our experience of this waterway and all the issues associated with barging etc, this pipeline is needed, others are trying the same thing in other waterways, however not impacted by funding, but more regulatory agreements with various agencies to get the green light to proceed. Its the only way to move large volumes of crude with little to no impact, that is to say if they can have a seamless production programme from OML18.

Infra i'm not at all surprised by this adjournment and frankly doubt the case will ever be heard for the reasons set out in the rnss and as i have explained. keep the faith - there's too much value here and it will surely be out

The mutual agreement to adjourn until July is a positive step, as it means dialogue can resume - talk is cheap but court proceedings are expensive!

Thanks everyone, fingers crossed it goes well today for all those that have a vested interested in SLE. I nearly got caught out as a contractor on this for ELI, but thankfully didn't proceed forward back in 2020, otherwise it could have been a different outcome for the business. Really feel for those creditors who have been caught up in this and hope they get a resolution soon. A lot of money was spent on this project to date via signed contracts with suppliers. Hopefully the court realises the bigger picture, I do believe ACOES will work as everything else in this waterway is compounded by so many different issues for crude transportation. We know of parties who have been caught up in it and they are not big companies, but deserve a resolution and equally deserve to finish the project, but I am sure their compensation packages once funding has been finalised will make up for the pain and suffering they have been caused. Have to assume other parts of the SLE business are financing this legal action.

This is going nowhere except down the plug hole. Where is SLE getting the money to fight this petition with creditors nipping at their heels?

infra all you need to know about the winding up petition was in the rns yesterday.to remind this told us: 'As previously announced, San Leon considers Ocean Pearl's petition to be both aggressive and vexatious. In particular, the Company has been advised that, as all shares in ELI are pledged to GT Bank Nigeria ("GTB") as part of ELI's wider security package, any transfer of shares in ELI cannot be effected without the consent of GTB. San Leon is therefore taking all actions to defend the petition and instead prevail upon Ocean Pearl to work constructively with the Company towards an expedient completion of the acquisition of its 13.5 per cent interest in ELI.'regarding the Tram transfer the most logical explanation is that it's caught up in US regulatory issues.if Tram had just got cold feet as you appear to suggest the nomad would have insinsted on an rns. also you should note because the shares are pledged to gtbank they have to consent to the petition and they're hardly likely to do that! i hope this is helpful.

The problem is a lack of facts Infra15, we have been fed positive news, RNS', interviews with OF and still none the wiser. deadlines have come and gone, so we wait.....

New on here, but have been following the SLE/ELI/ACOES project with interest for the last 5 years. I see the Winding Up Petition is tomorrow in London, is the Pipeline Contractor also taking them to court. What is the real news with TRAM, were the funds sent, seized or just backed out at the last minute.

Decklar has been a bit of a mystery for some time now since the Canadian who set it up in Nigeria left the project - one has to ask the question why did Fanning decide to become involved - he claimed he wouldn't put money into the project until he was assured of all Millennium local bank guarantees had been given I never did read that they had but nevertheless DLR went ahead with the investment,- makes one wonder what happened with the money ??
