01/10/2018 23:54	Portage has a history of creating value for its shareholders - one of its portfolio companies, Biohaven Pharmaceutical Holding Company Ltd ("Biohaven") (NYSE:BHVN), was the second largest biotech IPO on NASDAQ in 2017. Portage subsequently announced a distribution in specie of its stock in Biohaven to its shareholders. Their initial US$7 million investment was worth in excess of US$100 million at the time of the IPO in 2017, and has almost doubled since then. Biohaven is now worth approximately US$1.3 billion. Portage has provided seed capital to four other biotech companies and will seek to evaluate new opportunities.
