Ingenta PLC (ING.LN) said Thursday that J Sainsbury PLC (SBRY.LN) has signed a three-year contract to use its advertising software.
AIM-listed Ingenta said its software, used by other global companies, will enable Sainsbury's to manage its digital advertising through an online portal.
The advertising software has processed more than 1 billion pounds ($1.4 billion) worth of advertising revenue since its inception, said Ingenta.
Ingenta also said it expects the contract to start in the first half of the year, but didn't disclose financial details about the agreement.
At 0839 GMT, shares in Ingenta were up 4 pence, or 3.2%, at 127.50 pence. Shares in Sainsbury's were dawn 0.50 pence, or 0.2%, at 254.80 pence.
