A bit weak at present, but future prospects look solid going forward.

I sold half at 97p, from 40p. If it keeps dropping I may buy those back.

Yep, me.

I sold too early at 91p thinking I'd caught the top only to see it carry on up, am very close to buying back at these prices.

Looks like a forced seller to me cfro - that 25K early on @ 77p smacks of someone that has to sell imo.

Looks like he's cleared or nearly cleared imo. Those large trades at the close is the stock finding homes imo.

Anyway - I'm sure there's plenty that want to catch this low when it turns imo.

'Bout time some buying came back into this stock. Continued weakness is a tad annoying.

70K buy - looks like someone has just benefitted from a forced seller imo.

Well that 30k buy today has started moving SAG back in the right direction - on the lower range of the trend here too so looking attractive to buyers again perhaps.

Good articles above by the way.

Good spot, Hastings. Here's a US view of the same story, which "bigs up" Sagentia rather nicely (though I guess that's rather the American style) -

In my experience SAG tends to react in the week after the trading update and again ahead of the results after a trading update. It's a crumby day too.

I think broker notes tend to move SAG more. I also doubt many were looking at the news this afternoon or took the trouble to look at all the cash v the mkt cap.

Perhaps a firmer day over the next 10 days and a broker note perhaps might move it more.

'tis a very funny time of the day to release a trading statement.

Why no share price reaction?

Well, apart from a lot of investors missing it, i would say the word 'slightly' ahead instead of 'significantly' ahead perhaps has disappointed some.

If its only going to be the 'slighty' ahead then slightly ahead of what?....7.4p ??......then if so can we expect 8p eps?

But nevertheless, even suggestiong eps of 8p would still put the share price on a PE of 11 which is still too cheap imo.

What interests me most tho, is all that cash. The co could pay us shareholders out say, 10% of that and still retain a decent amount.

Funny time to release a trading update, I have only just noticed it, so I guess many other investors haven't seen it yet.

But good solid statement ahead of expectations again, so very happy to be holding here.

Agree with all that but don't understand why the price is still not moving and also attracting so little attention it would seem.
Recent broker forecasts were apparently very positive too.

probably something like net cash of £12m now on that increase in the gross cash - enought to give back 25p a share to shareholders with ease and still have net cash of ovet £1m imo.

T/S out

results ahead of expectations - gross cash now over £20m, up £2.3m from the interims :-)

Pretty pleased with that - they've sold the Sphere stake too which is inline with the business plan.

Well if there isn't a trading update soon there should be one at the beginning of Jan when they issue a pre-close trading statement.

Net 120k sold here over the past week yet the bid has risen from 89p to 90p so looks like a buyer is picking these up imo.
