Similar to you my average price is 179p.Since its sector hasn't even picked up yet (actually shrinking) I'm going to wait for the tailwind from industry growth which is sure to come,.there is a good income while we wait .

What a share this has been. Purchased in the dark old days of 170s, took ages to move, seems like so long ago. Anybody have any thoughts/ideas where this will end? The company still seems to have plenty of growth left. Happy to let this run for quite some time. ?

At some point soon the market will grow again because the RMI sector is now growing and consumer confidence and earnings are growing nicely . I averaged down last summer at 150p and have no intention of selling until the next recession looms.

I think management have done all that could have been expected, and more. Increasing profits, market share, cash and dividend during a branch contraction is an excellent performance. There was some speculation about a special dividend, given the 20p or so cash per share, see article in IC (subscription needed):



I don't think that a special dividend announcement was ever very likely with the interims, but remains a good possibility with the final announcement.

Solid investment, in my opinion.

The property market in Prime Central London is fragmenting, according to Land Registry data just released for Q2 2015 and analysed by London Central Portfolio (LCP). I traded down last summer at 151p to average down to 178p.
with the UK consumer spending more and starting to get wage rises I see a nice tailwind behind SFE.Also ,it throws off cash so the divi will grow nicely and there may be special too as ,unfortunately,mostly income funds own the shares.
No intention of selling.

Patience has been rewarded for being stuck in the dark old days of 170... Anybody have any views on the current support lvl? Are we likely to kick on again? Plenty of growth for the company, maybe a busy autumn!

Indeed, nice write up in IC today. Run profits sums it up. The wife was looking forward to me cashing in profits, but after the last update it definitely not being sold anytime soon. Target 285p.
