Any sells are getting taken up so will bounce once done. We should get a new acquisition at some point aswell.I like it here as I don't have to watch it all day lol

Richardjohn - My understanding is that Miton are still a seller.
There broker would look to place a block so it wouldn't necessarily be seen in the market real time but it should show up under the trade reporting guidelines.

Miton have sold half their holding leaving c3.1million shares or 4.86% of the capital.
Are there any grounds to suppose that they want to sell the rest ?
My children have bought a few shares recently and there does seem to be an ample supply.

Good report by Justin Waite today - Still a large overhang on the stock from Miton who have 3.1mn shares still to sell - Likely to hold the share price back until cleared.
Leave alone and a buy when the overhang is cleared.

Just got back from hols in Barcelona, where I came across the one they bought last year - popped in and asked for a tour which the staff very kindly gave, but they could only show me one room as they were virtually sold out, which is always nice to hear! Anyway, all looked good to me.

In other news, the reason the price has been strong lately might be down to an article tipping it in Monday's Evening Standard.

This company should cease acquiring sites immediately, and start improving the performance of their existing sites, all well and good buying hostels on the basis of an asset, but cheap rooms generate cheap returns, i like the idea but they need to improve the quality of the earnings. Not sure what Lipman knows about the hostel business, but Sacramento needs to start improving shareholder returns, particularly with the threat of tourist taxes in Barcelona for example to control visitor numbers!
