24/10/2013 18:38 | No I sold after the theft news years ago . That said, the idea of v cheap London rooms is a sure fire winner.!! Good luck to you all | tara7
24/10/2013 18:37 | Tara you still hold?? Their joint venture into Safestay hostels is getting very positive reviews. | battlebus2
24/10/2013 17:12 | Bitter and twisted , did you sell out on the lows.? topvest - 23 Oct 2013 - 21:26:51 - 250 of 252 battlebus2 - will they ever pay a dividend? I suspect not. So it is a speculative investment and one without real merit as the returns will only EVENTUALLY go to the directors. As with all speculative investments you might find some other mug to buy your shares and make a profit, but in the end I think that the discounted value of dividends in the future = something close to nil. I thought they had also announced a highly dilutive option scheme...what has happened to that? | tara7
24/10/2013 17:02 | Someone else sees value here with buying again today. | battlebus2

23/10/2013 15:29 | Buyers again today, p/e less than four and property market on the up :)) | battlebus2
22/10/2013 08:01 | Ticked up at the open :)) | battlebus2
17/10/2013 14:52 | Ticking higher again today. | battlebus2
16/10/2013 19:58 | Topvest sorry but i'm not sure why you keep saying that and have been saying that since 6/7p, call me stupid but my holding is worth much more than when i first bought. Now up nearly 300% since then and the business is in the best shape for sometime. The directors may line their pockets but the share price keeps rising and still sits on a very low rating with net assets of 9 million. London property values have stopped declining since the recession started in 2007 and Safeland can confidently look forward to an upturn in activity. "Now that the market has stabilized, we believe we are in an excellent position to generate future returns for shareholders". I agree it's not for everyone but for me it's a punt that's paying off. | battlebus2
16/10/2013 19:44 | Why is it cheap - any profits just get pocketed by the directors. That has been the story for the last decade. | topvest
16/10/2013 13:35 | P/E still amazes me at a lowly 3, although some negetivity over missing funds etc this is cheap and worth a small punt imv dyor etc.. | battlebus2
16/10/2013 09:05 | Continuing the strong rise to a decent rating. 30p soon looks a certainty imv. | battlebus2
23/9/2013 18:24 | Yes there are concerns but although only a small holding i'm up 90%, everyone has their own risk threshold. | battlebus2
23/9/2013 17:57 | Yes, but does anyone trust the directors to generate shareholder value as opposed to director value? No chance of a dividend. Lots of chance that they will buy a nice car or double their salary / bonus. This company doesn't reward investors. | topvest
22/9/2013 22:16 | Even after the strong rise i've got to say these still look rather cheap and on a p/e of 3 with the property market showing signs of improvement imv dyor etc... | battlebus2
19/8/2013 08:32 | Good results this morning and continuing the upwards trend. Outlook We believe that Safeland is in a strong position to move forward as the market improves, but also has the necessary resources, expertise and strategies to minimise the impact of any sudden unexpected market volatility. 15/4/2013 10:51 | Well into profit now :)) How high can we go i wonder? | battlebus2
04/2/2013 11:37 | Looking good again this morning :)) | battlebus2
03/1/2013 18:22 | no problem Dupree; following Mr. P M Davis's departure ( & the implied lapsing of his options - well they'd have to wouldn't they ? ) I've revised my 'harshest possible' nav computation to 28.18p ( a 2/3rds discount ! my word ). worth holding ( & even buying ) IMHO perchance the back-packers lodge JV succeeds & we get another demerger. NAI though ! | the troll
29/12/2012 16:35 | troll thank you for sharing your calculations. I think the problem for us is that everyone avoids this company so it has not mattered what the blasted nav is, and anyway it keeps getting lower doesn't it? What is remarkable though imo is that the fraud stories would appear to have lent strength to the share price! All publicity is good publicity?? | dupree |
