FY results:

"We are confident that by maintaining our absolute focus on underwriting discipline - treating volume as an output not target - we will continue to deliver strong profitability and attractive, consistent returns for shareholders and are well positioned to take advantage of growth opportunities at the appropriate time."

Barring unexpected regulation, etc. I can see this swinging between 250p and 280p and throwing off 20p a year in dividends.

Quick update. I sold out at just above 280 due to the BC Partners first sale.

Now that they've shifted the lot I'll be happy to buy back in if it drifts a bit lower. Say 250p. I'm not expecting it to get there.

There sure is some volume going through as we head back up. I'm hoping for a quick return to the 270 area

MM's kind enough to let me a a few early on at 229.

I think the share price will come back in due course once the dividend arrives.

There seems no reason not to distribute significant amounts now the solvency ratio has reached 160%

Motor insurer Sabre (SBR) reversed 12.6% to 242p after disappointing investors with no maiden dividend for the year to 31 December 2017. The company listed in December and said it was confident of delivering an attractive dividend this year.

CC2014, in a quarterly reshuffle, stocks can be promoted at 375th and above, if a space is made available by a stock going out.

This isn't a reshuffle though, it's a stock leaving because of a merger. In this case it's the stock highest on the resevere list that gets promoted. At close yesterday it would have been SBRE (excluding LRD). At close today (which is the sample date) JFJ have just overtaken SBRE, so they'll be promoted on Monday.

Still, SBRE stand a chance when LRD leave.

I'm not sure Typo.

As of today SBRE is 346th and to get into the FTSE250 it would need to get to 325, another 15% increase in share price.

Fingers crossed for next time.

It's possible SBRE will enter the FTSE250 index next week, to replace LCL. Under normal circumstances LRD would be replacing SBRE, but FTSE may take the view to pass on LRD as they'll be leaving the index soon too.

If LRD do get promoted now, SBRE will still be in with a shout when LRD leave.

We seem to have got back on the uptrend. But I've no idea how to value this company at the moment and where and if to sell.

Any thoughts?

This is going great.

I didn't get my full allotment in the IPO and my £10k request was reduced to £5,497. Quite a reduction for such a small amount.

I have tried to check this is correct but can find any information anywhere.

Any thoughts?
