08/4/2019 11:04 | Been delayed on Flying again until June. Poor Norwegian Air have 18 grounded. Must admit I won't fly on one. | montyhedge
08/4/2019 10:57 | Any news with the Boeing max ? Hopefully problem fixed soon as O'Leary has said they are game changers | johnyo
05/4/2019 13:10 | Monty, another guidance reduction from RYA would not surprise me, so would be a little careful here atm. If Brexit comes to some resolution, then around the 15 level, should be achievable, unless wider equity market turn down. | essentialinvestor
05/4/2019 12:31 | Good traffic and capacity report from IAG, who ARE they taking passengers from? | montyhedge
05/4/2019 12:17 | It's going to make about 1 Billion Euro on pre tax. Brexit is dominating everything re sentiment towards RYA atm. | essentialinvestor
05/4/2019 11:58 | Ryanair starts 41 new routes during first two days of S19 season hxxps://www.anna.aer Yes keep fares low but the airline still has to make money! | bor491
05/4/2019 09:03 | "why doesn't it slighly increase fares to make more money? The prices will surely still be lower than the competition?" better to keep fares as low as possible, thus forcing other airlines to go bust | spob
05/4/2019 08:05 | Don't think the 737Max is going to be recertified any time soon.... | sweyn
02/4/2019 14:59 | Yes, and they have also increased capacity. | essentialinvestor
02/4/2019 14:54 | demand not there? but if they just announced today MARCH TRAFFIC GROWS 9% TO 10.9m CUSTOMERS!!? | bor491
02/4/2019 14:32 | May is FY results announcement. If demand is not their they can't raise prices, it's that simple. Think we may be looking at another guidance cut here. | essentialinvestor
02/4/2019 14:28 | so is the trading update on the 20th May then? What I can't understand is that Ryanair has some of the lowest far prices in the industry - why doesn't it slighly increase fares to make more money? The prices will surely still be lower than the competition? | bor491
01/4/2019 11:16 | Competition will lead to more failings in the sector. Long term win for Ryanair with short term pain. Buy and hold | badger36
01/4/2019 08:46 | I see Easyjet blaming high fuel, Ryanair well hedged and IAG 85% hedged on oil. | montyhedge
27/3/2019 14:56 | If Ryanair wins trophy again for the worst airline, that beats the record held by the Luffwaffe 1945, lol. | montyhedge
21/3/2019 15:26 | sparty, well aware of the RYA current fleet. Also aware RYA has 135 of these aircraft on order in the 200 format, which has frequently been referred to as ..a game changer, by the Company. Hopefully Boeing will resolve the aircraft issue shortly, production is continuing atm. | essentialinvestor
19/3/2019 18:43 | Not quite so simple. It's possible, though not likely, that Boeing has real difficulties ever getting this certified. It is very possible that major changes are required which can cause a serious delay to Ryanair's orders. Without new more efficient aircraft Ryanair could have difficulty matching EasyJet prices, and Ryanair is totally committed to the 737 | sweyn
18/3/2019 14:44 | EI which just shows your ignorance of RYA`s fleet..No max`s flying at present.Plenty on order though. Re "cyclical" Thats what I love about it.Easy money and constant growth over a long period. I do not care if RYA cabin crew slap everyone when they board! It`s cheap and happy to read a book for 2/3 hours to save a fortune.I invest in moneymakers and business models not my favourite pony... :) | sparty1
15/3/2019 11:03 | new Boeings are still not operational with Ryanair - this issue will long be dusted before any effect! | bor491
12/3/2019 17:30 | The UK, Germany, Austria, France, Netherlands and Ireland have joined a number of other countries in banning Boeing 737 Max planes from operating in or over its airspace | dr fillip strange
11/3/2019 16:22 | Surprised this is not lower to be fair, given the Boeing news. | essentialinvestor
11/3/2019 15:22 | RYA is not a widows and orphans stock. For starters it's s highly cyclical business and the share price is prone to rapid % moves in either direction. | essentialinvestor
11/3/2019 14:55 | Ryanair over 100 737max on order-can see this being grounded with implications for expansion plans. imo | cumnor
11/3/2019 14:54 | Yes bad news is good news for O'Leary publicity machine. | montyhedge
11/3/2019 14:29 | This is Not new news btw, RYA have flagged this up on multiple occasions last year. It's getting more media attention with current political events. | essentialinvestor |
