Been delayed on Flying again until June. Poor Norwegian Air have 18 grounded. Must admit I won't fly on one.

Monty, another guidance reduction from RYA would not surprise me,
so would be a little careful here atm. If Brexit comes to some
resolution, then around the 15 level, should be achievable,
unless wider equity market turn down.

Good traffic and capacity report from IAG, who ARE they taking passengers from?

It's going to make about 1 Billion Euro on pre tax.

Brexit is dominating everything re sentiment towards RYA atm.

Ryanair starts 41 new routes during first two days of S19 season
hxxps://www.anna.aero/2019/04/05/ryanair-41-new-routes-first-two-days-s19-season/

Yes keep fares low but the airline still has to make money!

"why doesn't it slighly increase fares to make more money? The prices will surely still be lower than the competition?"

better to keep fares as low as possible, thus forcing other airlines to go bust

Don't think the 737Max is going to be recertified any time soon....

May is FY results announcement.

If demand is not their they can't raise prices, it's that simple.

Think we may be looking at another guidance cut here.

so is the trading update on the 20th May then? What I can't understand is that Ryanair has some of the lowest far prices in the industry - why doesn't it slighly increase fares to make more money? The prices will surely still be lower than the competition?

Competition will lead to more failings in the sector. Long term win for Ryanair with short term pain. Buy and hold

I see Easyjet blaming high fuel, Ryanair well hedged and IAG 85% hedged on oil.

If Ryanair wins trophy again for the worst airline, that beats the record held by the Luffwaffe 1945, lol.

sparty, well aware of the RYA current fleet.

Also aware RYA has 135 of these aircraft on order in
the 200 format, which has frequently been referred to as ..a game changer,
by the Company.

Hopefully Boeing will resolve the aircraft issue shortly, production is continuing
atm.

Not quite so simple. It's possible, though not likely, that Boeing has real difficulties ever getting this certified. It is very possible that major changes are required which can cause a serious delay to Ryanair's orders. Without new more efficient aircraft Ryanair could have difficulty matching EasyJet prices, and Ryanair is totally committed to the 737

EI which just shows your ignorance of RYA`s fleet..No max`s flying at present.Plenty on order though.
Re "cyclical" Thats what I love about it.Easy money and constant growth over a long period.
I do not care if RYA cabin crew slap everyone when they board! It`s cheap and happy to read a book for 2/3 hours to save a fortune.I invest in moneymakers and business models not my favourite pony...

RYA is not a widows and orphans stock. For starters it's s highly cyclical
business and the share price is prone to rapid % moves in either direction.
