I couldn't bring myself to sell any of these. The spread is too wide for messing about with buying and selling. To my mind they are one of the best buy and hold stocks around. Only bad news would make me sell. How many companies are there with 11 years EPS growth, profit growth, sales growth, dividend growth, debt free, high margin and high ROE even through the credit crunch they grew. Not many stocks around with that record.

last results on 9 Dec were excellent -topped up on seeing them - and now more widely appreciated with share price going through 900p for first time on way to 1000p I hope.

yes alter
the material increase in revenue comes from the consolidation of inovia's revenue for the first time as a wholly owned sub
so revenues are added being about $27m

the business is actually low margin although profitable

the profit comes in the translation work all of which RWS have been getting anyway in y/e 2013

so not too much change year on year from this part of the business other than underlying growth from new clients

Chairman says "With the full effect of the PharmaQuest and inovia acquisitions as well, the Board now expects the Group to deliver revenues in excess of £100m in 2014, as it continues to materially enhance its leading position in the intellectual property space."

The only forecast I can find for next year shows no material change in earnings despite increase in revenue.

Can anyone explain?

I don't think anything in particular going on, just a case as of the market having a good run recently which means 'boring but dependable' shares like RWS are not in the limelight as much, hence a little downward share price movement. But these are the ones which over time deliver consistently and steadily and provide superb returns for those who are patient, in my experience. Looking forward to the final results in less than a months time!

After the last few years when I've had plenty of shares in my portfolio that "disappoint", it's a good feeling to have a company that continues to "exceed expectations"! Well done, Mr. Brode.
