22/4/2009 05:58 | qwazi - I spoke to the company a few weeks ago when the shares were 3p and thought I might wait until results before buying. Doh! What put me off was that the interest rate swaps are held at parent company level, unlike TRV for example where they are held at spv level. If you factor that in then parent company cash isn't worth a lot. | nickcduk
21/4/2009 10:13 | Price is way OTT. I would sell in a hurry personally at these levels. The premium that RTY is trading at relative to the likes of DLD and TRV makes it very expensive. If you want a takeover play then DLD is much better value. | nickcduk
21/4/2009 09:48 | It's not so much a conclusion as a hunch. I just think that there are "opportunistic" buyers out there and it is quite possible that Black Sea (or any other possible suitors) are trying to pick up assets on the cheap. Assuming that the NAV is "truly" close to 50p there's not a cat in hell's chance that Rutley will recommend a deal unless it's close to NAV (to appease the stale holders) and that similarly the predator will only persist if they can "steal it". Therefore I suspect a stalemate may result. | konkel
21/4/2009 09:04 | Dear konkel, I sorry if my tone came over as patronising, "I'm up to my eyes in Rutley stock" So why did you come to the conclusion that the deal will not be successful? jab | jab118
21/4/2009 09:03 | Dear konkel, I sorry if my tone came over as patronising, "I'm up to my eyes in Rutley stock" So why did you come to the conclusion that the deal will not be successful? jab | jab118
21/4/2009 08:33 | jab, Apologies for having an opinion but mine remains that if you're expecting anything close to 30p you're going to be extremely disappointed. Having been investing in the stockmarket for over 20 years (as my only source of income) I really don't appreciate your patronising tone. Please accept that everyone is entitled to their own opinion even if it doesn't concur with yours. Oh, and for the record, I truly hope that you're right as I'm up to my eyes in Rutley stock! | konkel
21/4/2009 08:22 | konkel What I would suggest you do is click on Black Sea Glbl Pro web site and instead of guessing, read what you see and digest. If you assumption is guess work then you should not be investing in the stock market:-) | jab118
21/4/2009 07:44 | If this goes out at 30p I'll pay you all myself! My guess is the deal will break down but, assuming it doesn't, 15p is the best we can hope for. Don't forget the Company had a tender at 3p to satisfy disgruntled holders who couldn't exit....they'll be ripping your arm off for 15p so the predator is in a strong position. | konkel
20/4/2009 14:24 | LBO why do you think this is being shorted, due to the 80% you think?? If we can hang on to this rise will the company have to make an anouncement ? | jab118
20/4/2009 13:21 | L2 is starting to look strong again. A lot of property shares seeing strength so it seems some investors are coming back to the sector in general and shorts being closed aswell. | lbo
20/4/2009 12:55 | pre.. Don't think it's a shake level 2 looks deflated at the moment, thick it could be traders taking profit on bad news coming out of the USA. Be honest can't blame them for that. However think there is plenty more to go here, I think this bid talk situation is going to be good for anyone who can hold, After deeply researching the situation, I'm holding full on. | jab118
20/4/2009 12:03 | lol....mm's having a patentic attempt at tree shake....30p take out price fair value? | pre
