27/6/2016 22:48 | Probably taken out insurance, I know they had before and they should have it all in place at the time of a referendum, IMV. | elmfield
27/6/2016 22:40 | Japanese equities, Japanese currency, USD denominated or USD related oil stocks perhaps. But they have a lot in Sterling as well so don't really know the reason. This continues to be a mystery but cannot forget how well it performed during and after the 2008 crisis. | lambeater
27/6/2016 18:15 | Lovely, Doing what it says on the tin, Pnl other holding doing the same. | elmfield
27/6/2016 17:41 | Quick down and up! | pvb
14/6/2016 22:36 | Recommend looking at capital gearing, it's frequently up (albeit slightly) on down days. Doesn't move about muchat all. Pnl has also done well recently. I'll prob leave this be for now, it did do well in the last crisis - hopefully that wasn't just a fluke. | 0x3f
14/6/2016 22:32 | I don't mind it going down, but expect less than ftse! Maybe discount to nav has opened up. Interesting to see on 1 year chart the high frequency volalility is less than the ftse, it's just that the low frequency (overall trend) is the same-ish. They seem to be getting something wrong. I wonder how much input Jonathan Ruffer has these days since he went part time. | 0x3f
14/6/2016 22:05 | I am starting to agree. This seems to be increasing volatility, not reducing it. I'd have been better off without it! | pvb
14/6/2016 21:24 | These people must be held to account at the next meeting. The stock should be going up at times like this otherwise what's the point of holding the shares. They are a lose lose. | lambeater
14/6/2016 18:45 | Terrible performance here. This is supposed to be one of my defensive, low correlation holdings but over 1 yr it's down about the same as FTSE (12.5%). | 0x3f
29/4/2016 17:02 | I think my average is about 199p (including dividends)so not good but certainly not a disaster. Not sure what the share price movement correlates to. Japanese equities? Interest rates? Or are we keeping the champagne and oyster bars alive in The City of London? | lambeater
29/4/2016 16:04 | Since Christmas this being my safe share so called has been my worst holding, Something the team need to chew on!! | elmfield
29/4/2016 15:41 | ...or bluffer? | lambeater
29/4/2016 13:49 | chicken feed for him - time to rename duffer? | edwardt
