13/12/2011 10:39 | I remember him on that thread as lionman spreading false rumours and making up as he went along. I still dont understand how these people can get away with what they do on this site, all the FSA has to do is go to the topinfo thread and all the usual suspects are there in one place. It seems the way forward is to post lies, false and misleading info because nobody seems bothered in stopping them. | kinghorm23
13/12/2011 10:37 | Graco / lionman Do you mean this funding that was announced after your infamous phone call . . . "The Placing has been carried out at a 38 per cent. premium to the closing mid market price of the Company's shares of 13.75p on 24 August 2011 and the net proceeds of the Placing will be used by the Company to fund the further procurement of long lead capital items on which the Company has various holding deposits." | cufes2
13/12/2011 09:39 | graco Unfortunately for you your post is still on record and you have learnt nothing after posting lies about SNRP amongst others using other usernames . . . graco4 - 7 Dec'11 - 12:09 - 196 of 224 There will need to be a placing here to allow stelios and Lenigas with the further shares they require. Last placing 1p. Next placing 3p imo. Looks like the market has got wind of this. ____________________ First it was Lonrho and not Lenigas taking a stake . . . second the Lonrho placing had already been announced . . . third the Stelios stake was for an insignificant 5% . . . and finally this placing wasn't at 3p . . . Now we have a business with a relatively small market cap and rather a lot of cash . . . plus we have Stelios and his management team looking at developing an African budget airline and Lonrho who have the beginnings of an African budget airline . . . if Stelios and his team decide they have a viable business proposition there may well be an RTO of an airline business and/or loans and/or a further placing to grow the business . . . who knows . . . but the value placed on potential assets, future turnover and profitability, brand name, Stelios, etc may compensate for any potential dilution . . . or it could go wotsits up . . . that's the gamble IMHO . . . "Market reception to our strategic plans, in particular our proposed arrangements with easyGroup, has been extremely positive. We have therefore taken the opportunity to raise additional capital, conditional upon the passing of resolutions at our general meeting tomorrow. These new funds will enhance significantly our ability to pursue our strategic goals. We look forward now to an intense period of planning with Stelios and his team as we add further detail to our strategy to build a major aviation business focused on Africa". "easyGroup will provide branding advice to Rubicon which, if accepted, would lead to an agreement under which easyGroup will provide Rubicon with exclusive rights to use the fastjet.com brand for an initial period of twelve months. Following this period, provided the Company has taken delivery of a western standard jet aircraft liveried as fastjet.com or completed a substantial transaction which is classified as a reverse take-over under the AIM Rules, Rubicon's rights to the fastjet.com brand would continue on a perpetual basis. Should no such transaction occur within 12 months, all rights in the fastjet.com brand would revert to easyGroup with no further obligations on either party." "David Lenigas and Geoffrey White, chairman and chief executive of Lonrho, are due to join Rubicon's board if the company's shareholders approve the move on December 13. Lonrho, which already controls African airline Fly540, is due to secure a 12.7 per cent stake in Rubicon after participating in a share placing that raised £400,000 for the company last month. Sir Stelios and Lonrho already have a commercial partnership. In July, Lonrho signed an agreement to use Sir Stelios' EasyHotel brand for a network of 50 hotels operated by the conglomerate across Africa by 2016." | cufes2
13/12/2011 09:26 | Nearly there, get ready for some buying | sweepie2
13/12/2011 08:49 | Oh dear. Selftrade : Buy 250,000 4.31p or 450,000 4.32p The placing stock is in the wrong hands, people who want quick profit. | kinghorm23
13/12/2011 08:45 | As a LONR share holder i certainly hope Fly540 is taken off our hands as it as cost too much for toolittle return IMO. One thing to keep in mind is the African Red Tape. Lonrho could not cut it will FastJet do any better ?. I do not hold RUBI. | tenapen
13/12/2011 08:44 | topinfo pump and dump thread graco5 - 13 Dec'11 - 08:43 - 27566 of 27566 Cant believe you lot arent int in RUBI now the placing is clear. People were chasing it at 7p last week and now 4.4p to buy. Press conference later today. Market caop of £12m is far to cheap for the eastjet brand imo. Oh well guess people will only chase it when its rising. | kinghorm23
13/12/2011 08:43 | Lets see if there any announcement after 11.00am. | yashdi
13/12/2011 08:43 | i wonder who has bought in the placing... | aughton 3
13/12/2011 08:43 | Graco You are taking on a large placing on first hour of trading, you need hidden accounts of Nick Leeson proportions to win, the placing boys will take 0.3p all day and it's a big placing :-)) | kinghorm23
13/12/2011 08:40 | so are we all going "long" now ? | mister md
13/12/2011 08:40 | I suggest you both do the same too.. this thread is about Rubicon Investments, Stelios, and the a certain prospective african airline... Mind you, this has bought up a very good buying opportunity... saffy.. | safman
13/12/2011 08:39 | O/T what an extraordinary deal by the company - totally out of the blue a worthless stock bimbling along at around 1p raises 15x it's previous market cap at a 300% premium to the original share price. Absolutely incredible stuff. | bozzy_s
13/12/2011 08:35 | When you bought at 7.75p last week graco you went mental ramping it yourself on the topinfo pump and dump thread. Then you sell at 8.01 am and start deramping it. You buyback this morning and it's back to the 8p+ posts. So when you sell today because you never hold a stock more than a few hours you will return deramping it again. Your credibility is zero hence you cannot keep a username for too long | kinghorm23
13/12/2011 08:29 | Nearly at my target of 4p, will pick up a few | sweepie2 |
