A lot of truth in your comments Harrogate and spoken like a fellow long suffering shareholder who's patience has been pushed to the limit.
I would like to think that the recent presentation and comments were an accurate reflection of where we are now and I think if the company truly has got its act together (because the products deserve better) then shareholders will be rewarded
Nice that your still around.

And if the presentation yesterday really did have information that dramatically changes our perception of the status here then surely that should have been put out to the market not sneaked out on a speed dating show? I think you guys are reading too much into the words

Spurious that's what we want, but Harrogate that's the truth and unfortunately the share price reflects it.

Maybe what he did was immediately sack the clowns we had been using to advise on regulatory matters and show the board just how naive they had been and how little expertise the company had in this area after the overconfident claptrap spouted in earlier presentations

Question to everyone
What is "the huge value that Ian Anthony has already bought to the business" as mentioned by Caroline Stretton in her recent presentation and describing his role as "critical"
He was scheduled to start 16th Nov 2021 so has only just got his foot under the table, so to have created "huge value" in such a short time for the company is "Hugely" impressive
I suspect with yesterday's visit of a Global leader in the heart valve market to the RUA factory described as "exciting" and "more news to follow shortly" I suspect we will not have long to find out.
"Hugely" exciting times ahead I think

Yesterday put a line under the FDA debacle. But someone wants out, simple as that. There could be a whole host of reasons for this but the aggressive offer bashing suggests that this is an ongoing indigestion for the price. Positive news, of which it sounds like could be coming re the heart valve project, may help to speed this up. The price has so far found a level where buyers are happy to take on the supply. Long term, this looks excellent IMHO.

Here’s the recording in full of the afternoon session from Proactive. The section on RUA Life Sciences starts at approximately 2 hours and 1 minute into it. Skip to 2 hours 13 minutes for the juicy bits.

the other comment that got me quite excited was Caroline talking about Ian Anthony's recent appointment as being "critical" to the business.
She then went on to say "Ian Anthony has already bought huge value to the business".
Putting 2 and 2 together with the visit of Global leader in heart valve market to RUA today described as "very exciting" and "with more news on that shortly" then I suspect the "huge value Ian Anthony has already bought to the business" would mean a deal has been done that will be revealed shortly.
Fill you boots time I think
Hope I'm right

Many thanks ENW and Spurious. Spurious, I concur with your thoughts.

I too have been accumulating. More today at 53 and a bit. EV of £9M is too hard to refuse.

She said 'more on that shortly' in relation to the visit from the heart valve co rep.

Another 50k off the table at 52p. That 15k at 53p following it must have been a purchase then.

Hopefully the book will tighten up very soon and we might see a coiled spring in action....!

I remember it well, Langland. Loaded up quite a few then in the 45-55 range too, coincidentally.

Once we got rid of Miton just over 2 years ago, the share price rallied 70p in 2 months.

Cheers SK.

Market cap £11.9M, cash £3M (est). You're having a laugh, Mr Market.

Apparently still 50K on offer on the RSP so presumably Amati are still bailing? The supply has been non-stop in the mid-50's. Distressed behaviour indeed.

Just watched the 15 minute slot at the Cenkos client roadshow. CEO Caroline Stretton ran through the business fundamentals and then finished off with answering and discussing a couple of questions from the host.

Very basic sum up of comments from Caroline:

- A representative from one of the key global heart valve device companies is actually visiting the company today (reason not given). I didn't quite catch an aside that sounded like further news would be forthcoming, I would have to check the recording for that!

- RUA now has a "very helpful" relationship with the FDA including the ability to liaise with them on an ad hoc basis.

- The requirement from the FDA is for a clinical trial and they are actively assisting RUA to design it.

- Discussions are ongoing with many large device companies (distributors and OEM's) all of which are under NDA so cannot be expanded upon just now.

- Relationships with all third party advisers are history. With the new Clinical Affairs Director on board, who is proving to be "critical" to RUA's activity going forward, the company believes it has a heavyweight team and staff with which to take things forward.

- Now that a clinical trial is needed for Vascular, the strategy is to target all of Europe, US and Asia at once with the aortic root graft to begin with and a host of associated products following on behind.

This all sounded promising to me. No discussions were had about financing but I think we know they probably have £3M in the bank currently. I don't see that running out in the near future now that the priorities have changed as regards manufacturing tooling up being delayed. Don't forget that RUA Medical and RUA Biomaterials are grossing £1.5M per annum at a minimum so its not all outgoings.

The price drift has the hallmarks of an overhang cashing out. Another 100k at 54.5p today looks like part of it.

I’ve grabbed a good few at 56p seeing as they are on sale.

Hopefully Caroline Stretton has some positives on the non vascular side to impart and perhaps we will hear of developments with the FDA?

Also news on this is due:

"In addition, Lachlan Smith has joined as CFO with expertise in implementing the financial and management systems required to control high growth businesses. Subject to the completion of satisfactory due diligence, expected to be completed in January 2022, the Company intends to appoint Lachlan to the Board and will make a further announcement in due course."

Hopefully we will get news on the below beforehand, which is now due:

"the Company has mutually agreed with the FDA to convert its 510(k) submission to a pre-submission or Q-sub. This Q-sub is an interactive discussion between RUA and the FDA to determine the regulatory pathway to approval in the US and allows the Company to negotiate with the FDA over the data required to support a future 510(k) clearance. Through this route, the Company will receive a full written response from the FDA in January 2022, which will allow detailed discussions to take place thereafter with the FDA."

RUA on at 3pm on 8th February. Not a long one as it is an all day showcase for Cenkos clients.

Strange price action indeed. 100k at 55.5 late trade yesterday and 40k today at 55.0 If they were sells it seems strange that they were done at or even above the bid. Can't get my head around it.

Per your comment Early not wrong, i'm also surprised there has been no director activity (unless they are restricted from doing so at this point for some reason).

10k bid online 56.25p. Offered at 56.30p looks like an interesting battle about to begin.

I would have thought the new CFO could put his hand in his pocket when appointed to the board and boost confidence with a good-sized purchase, time will tell.

It's worth a small punt of anyone's money, if they can finally deliver what they promise on their own terms there's big rewards. Too soon for an update Friday? from memory they will have spoken with the FDA already, and a little teaser about the outcome might ease tensions. In the mean time there's little harm in another scoop-full of shares at this price.
