RSA Insurance Group plc (the "Company") announces that Hugh Mitchell will retire as a Non-Executive Director with effect from the Company's 2018 AGM on 11 May 2018 after over 6 years on the Board.
Kath Cates will succeed Hugh as chair of the Remuneration Committee with effect from 1 December 2017, with Hugh remaining as a committee member until his retirement from the Board.
Martin Strobel will succeed Kath Cates as chair of the Board Risk Committee with effect from 1 December 2017.
Martin Scicluna, RSA Chairman, said:
"I would like to take this opportunity to thank Hugh for his contribution to the Group over the past six years, in particular for his contribution as chair of the Remuneration Committee. On behalf of all at RSA, I wish him every success.
I am also very pleased to take this opportunity to welcome Kath and Martin to their new roles."
