31/10/2020 18:52 | Promises a logistics report for the sector on 30th Nov. Indicates what a high turnover thin margin type of business the industry is. | lefrene
31/10/2020 18:28 | lockdown should be good for parcel volumes | thomasearnshaw

28/10/2020 21:06 | They have worked bits of a deal with the new parcel sorting machines and going back to hand sorting letters, also the parcel collection will take off. They also still need a CEO, next year should see it start to come together. | brut winky
28/10/2020 15:56 | CC, it's the nature of the scale of the business. The vans collect from pillar boxes, and small post offices, and of course distribute to post offices. They are also used to drop off posties on their rounds, and to re-supply posties with more mail in the busy xmass period. Electric bikes and trailers just wouldn't cut it, although I have seen posties with electric trollies in towns and on mopeds out in the sticks. | lefrene
28/10/2020 14:12 | they could switch to electric bikes with a small trailer, running cars just to deliver letters and small parcels seems a huge overhead on the business if it's local delivery | creditcrunchies
28/10/2020 11:46 | CC, the scale of RMG is so large that small inefficiencies get hugely magnified. The last time I checked they had over 40,000 vehicles, you only have to waste £1 a day by poor use of those, to see potential profit vanish. | lefrene
28/10/2020 11:25 | what concerns me about this stock are the figures they come out with are so poor when the volume of business revenue is so large. It doesn't take much to push them into a loss. You can't help thinking what is it they're doing to get in this position | creditcrunchies
27/10/2020 21:31 | if an agreement with the unions is not concluded this will be back to 180p. | sr2day
27/10/2020 20:16 | Hi all, My mate Peter @Conkers3 and myself did a ‘Twin Petes Investing’ Podcast a few days ago and part of our discussion includes RMG which I hold. We also chatted about loads of other Stocks and Ideas for research, and the outlook for Markets and as usual a fair bit of educational stuff with regards to Investing which this week included the concept of ‘Badwill&rsquo Anyway, if you use Apple, Audioboom, Overcast or Spotify you can find it under the 'Conkers Corner' Channel (you want Podcast TPI 34) and you can find it on Soundcloud at the link below. I hope you enjoy it and find it useful, Cheers, WD @wheeliedealer | thewheeliedealer
26/10/2020 18:02 | All these need to do is surprise the market and break even, which there is still a possibility of. | brut winky
26/10/2020 15:12 | yes the likes of JPM AM, BLK AM and Pictet didn't get the letter that Covid would lead to a surge in e-commerce sales | arbus5000
26/10/2020 13:14 | They used to be in the top five most shorted, goes to show why there's no need to worry about toady and that it should be used as a buying opportunity for anyone wanting in. | brut winky
26/10/2020 09:06 | the shorts on this have fled like rats hxxps://shorttracker | arbus5000
21/10/2020 11:58 | It does, it will not take much from here to hit £3 just a follow up on the new parcel collection service, which is winner and it will be hard not to price it in, £3 to £3.50 for Farther Christmas, boom, sky high valuation coming 🚀🚀 | brut winky
21/10/2020 10:13 | Looks set for breakout | fred splange
19/10/2020 10:14 | That would be good Fred, as for the strike action i agree with your assumption, also very politically in sensitive given Covid as well. | brut winky
19/10/2020 08:48 | While the clock ticking on the cwu negotiations was once advantageous to the union, it is now shifting to royal mail as the window for December strike action recedes. I therefore expect a deal soon, maybe even this week. | fred splange
11/10/2020 07:30 | isis : good post, 20% increase in volume is a reasonable increase, all pushes for the efficiency needed. | brut winky
