"The Vannin contracts were signed by Lorena Aguirre on behalf of the AGC but were in terms that could entitle Vannin to be paid if the AGC failed in its obligations, even if Vannin then put in no money or insurance."

Stopped watching and paying BBC licence fee 2 years ago when I saw the salaries.
I'd highly recommend it.

Whether or not McKewan's comments are valid. the News Channel is showing clips repeatedly, one or two times every hour. It suits the BBC's agenda, of course, since McKewan thinks like a Remainer, even if he couldn't vote.

And it came to pass in those days that there went out a decree from King Boris that all those refusing to participate in the quest for the holy grail be cast out ...

A legal funding firm faces delay in its attempt to float as it is caught up in two big court battles.

Vannin Capital is trying to list its shares on the London Stock Exchange.

But it has been forced to delay publishing its prospectus after telling investors it expects to lose several million pounds on a case it is funding against Costa Rica.

Vannin is also caught up in the legal mess over the RBoS Shareholders Action Group.

The 7,000 investors who signed up to the group won a £200 million settlement from Royal Bank of Scotland in June 2017.

But many have yet to be paid, with questions raised over the action group company, which was co-founded by a fraudster.

Vannin claims it is due £14 million from funding the action group.

But lawyers for the investors say the action group did not have the authority to agree this and asked the court to dismiss the claim, which they described as an 'opportunistic smash and grab raid'.

Vannin confirmed its prospectus was delayed by the Costa Rica case, but declined to comment on the bank case.

BO is just the silliest name for an internet bank.

BO = Bailed Out
BO = Biological Odour

..and so on.

Nevertheless the market is selling individual companies "on the news", which suggests a degree of forward looking caution. I cannot think why ;)
