Konil,Not saying you shouldn't be vigilant as anything is possible in the wild east. You've been involved in Max and there are plenty of Russian horror stories like Lebedev and Timan Oil.Roxi need external investment and it's not going to help by shafting shareholders. They keep stating that they are well connected in Kaz and looking for foreign investment. They need the cash to develop the deeps and won't get it unless it's an internal game and nothing much we can do to stop that.Re deep production at 3000bopd. I haven't opened link yet but will do later. If this is true then it can only be from 801 or 801 & 1 other. If they've cleaned up 801 and glowing at 3k, that would be awesome. Can't understand why we're trading at sub 10p though ?Smarty

don't know if it is the case, just asking how do-able it is under the different scenarios.

on the face of it, it seems eminently easier to do when holding a majority stake in one corporate entity, rather than across 2 different entities registered in two differnt countries, but i don't know, maybe its easier to do with things the way they are, dont know enough about the ins and outs of takeover rules, cross-border entities and so on.

as for whether it will or wont be done, haven't a clue but i have long since stopped assuming anything or taking anything for granted.

how easy would oraziman find it to swallow up roxi shares in 'external' hands i.e. not already owned by him directly or by baverstock, in each of two scenarios;

a) with bng ownership currently split across separate roxi / baverstock.

b) after merger, with bng entirely (99% actually) owned by roxi and oraziman's increased holding in the merged entity.


does anyone know the answer in terms of hoops he has to jump through now to do it and would it be easier to do after merger?

a lowball offer would clear out external holders on the cheap.

in agreeing to the whitewash resolution in the upcoming vote will we be signing our own death warrant?

i think that is extremely unlikely given it takes forever to get a cpr report and i cant see they've done enough shallow drilling to go from 29 now to 700 by june 2018!

very happy to eat humble pie when roxi prove me wrong!!

As a short term target they are hoping for 700 million barrels of P2 reserves by june 2018.

good pr gig, but little or no mention of funding.

they appear not to have written off any of the 3 deep wells yet. still "hoping for 1 or more to start producing". however, remarkable lack of updates on deeps, getting on for 10 months on 2 deeps and nothing much on the latest either for months - so i'm wondering if they already know the first 2 are dead but will keep the spin going until funding sorted.

cynicism born of numerous shaftings by small company managements. it all sounds extremely promising here, so may be this one will be different???

Thanks bull thats what I thought he said just needed a second opinion after the time its took.
Appears today that regulars here have been right all along with news being held back til the merger was sorted.
Roll on next quarter can't come soon enough imo.

shallow reserves update.
the big news will be one of the deep wells producing on a consistent basis in the next quarter.
current valuation supported by existing production
extensive news flow in next quarter, shallow and deep.
reason for the company to be further improved
$200m institutional fund managers
one or more transformation updates on the deeps in the next quarter!

Unexpected but unless I'm mistaken in todays vox interview carver quite clearly states that one of the deeps will be producing consistently in the next quarter.

The real irony is that my Blood Group suggests I have gene's from the Caspian area, so from now on I wish to be referred to as Prince Caspian rather than Jonny.

Only reason for new name is a new start and can be re-marketed with a positive spin. I see it as a positive and the sunrise depicts a new beginning. To do that, I'm presuming that they have some good news to come otherwise Caspian Sunset would be more pertinent !

toggle, i guess the statement might be a formal 'nod' to the rules on disclosure.

the transactions may be all above board if conducted at the correct times and at market prices.

in small/tightly held/little researched companies there is always the risk of misdoings and nepotism and this is priced in to the share price through the risk premium/discount, so investing in this space implies one accepts the pros and cons of the territory. if something was amiss who would do anything about it anyway? (rhetorical)

i'm hoping having come this far roxi now starts delivering for lths as caspian sunrise, though i do wish they hadn't renamed it!
