It was never a case of buying high... this has simply revealed itself as being a seriously flawed, potentially fake Business from a point in time and consistently so, the result being ever diminishing value - it doesn't actually do any Business, it says it hopes to but then never does. Your investment made this year will also be worth substantially less in another year, it's simply what happens as a direct result of nothing ever actually happening.

It's not deramping... it's being honest.
It's about informing others to stay well clear of this nonsense.
A Permit to conduct a 3D seismic survey isn't a high value event.
Very good results from such a survey is a high value event - and the results won't be very good at all... there's either nothing there or nothing that can be got at profitably... this is just more of the usual pie-in-the-sky nonsense
