20/6/2023 08:45 | (MT Newswires) Rolls-Royce (RR.L) is looking to return to the market for single-aisle aircraft by seeking partnerships with other engine makers, Bloomberg News reported Monday, citing Head of Civil Aerospace Rob Watson. The aerospace and defense group is mainly focused on wide-body aircraft engines but is now also looking for collaborations on single-aisle engine programs depending on how the market develops, Watson told Bloomberg. The company's new UltraFan engine concept could be integrated into both its widebody and narrowbody models, with some of the technology to be deployed into the Trent XWB model in the next few years, Watson added. Shares in Rolls-Royce rose almost 2% on Monday's close. Price (GBP): £153.80, Change: £+2.60, Percent Change: +1.72% | dipa11

20/6/2023 07:49 | Rolls-Royce small engine set to begin tests to advance hybrid-electric flight This engine will be tested on SAF in the coming months and will be used for the commissioning of Rolls-Royce’s test facility in Dahlewitz Rolls-Royce has announced that its new small gas turbine that has been specifically developed to power hybrid-electric flight is set to begin testing. The engine is part of a turbogenerator system that is being developed for the Advanced Air Mobility market. This includes electrical vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) Aircraft for Urban Air Mobility and Commuter Aircraft applications up to 19 seats. The turbogenerator system will complement the Rolls-Royce Electrical propulsion portfolio by delivering an on-board power source with scalable power offerings between 500kW and 1200kW enabling extended range on sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) and later, as it becomes available, through hydrogen combustion. This will open up new, longer routes than electric battery powered aircraft can support as of today. Olaf Otto, President - Electrical, said “Rolls-Royce will be the leading provider of all-electric and hybrid-electric power and propulsion systems for Advanced Air Mobility. The Pass-To-Test (PTT) of our brand-new small engine that will power our turbogenerator system is an important step forward. This product will enable our customers to extend the routes that electric flight can support and means more passengers will be able to travel further on low to net zero emissions aircraft.” The development of the turbogenerator system is combining Rolls-Royce’s electrical and gas turbine development competencies. The new combustion engine uses recent technology developments to achieve a step change in efficiency of small gas turbines. The turbogenerator can be used in serial or parallel hybrid applications. It is well suited to recharge batteries as well as provide energy to electrical propulsion units directly and therefore enables aircraft to switch between power sources in flight. The research and development of this technology is being partially funded by the German Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action. This engine will be tested on SAF in the coming months and will be used for the commissioning of Rolls-Royce’s test facility in Dahlewitz. The Rolls-Royce Power Gearbox test facility has been modified to accommodate testing of the new engine, and to confirm the engine’s technical attributes. Rolls-Royce is developing complete power and propulsion systems for all-electric and hybrid-electric applications. Our systems under design feature the latest technology, from power generation and energy storage via power electronics and control systems to electric motors. | freddie01

19/6/2023 21:39 | I’d be happy to give say HL, 5 million shares at an assured 2% discount to share price of the day execution average (or whatever subs can be matched) to ensure a liquidity offload assurance Just a basic example As long as the forward month liquidity is staying open on orders , maker can keep price in 150s for them Anyway that’s a wholeeeee different arena. Not worth discussing | institutional investments
19/6/2023 21:33 | The cheap fee monthly subscription format Let’s funds know what liquidity is available to offload with broker mates and so on Forward planning 😂 | institutional investments
19/6/2023 21:29 | You know, what good is 100% return in say, 3 years? Not worth a damn really . Inflation etc . Better than a bank obviously but apart from that, no good | institutional investments

19/6/2023 21:27 | Gerbil excitement risk 😂 always a short risk Big difference between an adjust, sell and short Could do. Would represent circa 93% return But also have to account for time. This is an ISa favourite for nearly two decades (imagine if it wasn’t) Could take forever to work it’s way down Prefer something to pay out faster . Water etfs good now. They will double your money in much faster time | institutional investments
19/6/2023 21:09 | Institutional Investments, if you can see Rolls-Royce hitting 10p, why wouldn't you liquidate every asset you possess and go short. It would be the investment decision of a lifetime, so why miss out? | cevodniya

19/6/2023 20:39 | I was looking at sone modelling for default forecasts into 2024, and it all makes 2008 look small. They can’t help like in covid or it just makes inflation fly in a default crisis and so on It’s rather messy I can see shares like RR hitting 10p It may seem far fetched but not long ago, expecting 70p was too | institutional investments

19/6/2023 18:45 | Yes I saw SR do the same a while back. A bear on one platform and a bull on another. Exact same post count each day on each. And the bull version was a hero despite the share falling 77%😂 Was a good point he made for what he was doing it for back then | institutional investments |
