Steve73: yes realised after I posted that we'd already discussed AEX briefly. Future looks very bright though and as you know they're not a new operation. Not aware of any offhand - sorry. If I think of something will let you know. Internaxx have the Aussie exchange - and Asia, CA, etc... www.internaxx.lu It's designed for expats so not sure if that'll work for you.

cm, I've been in AEX since mid 04, taken small profits on the way up, but missed out selling at 50ish. Currently showing a loss, but I'm very happy to hold from here, and have topped up regularly at these give-away prices. Now one of my larget holdings. I want to top up ROC, but I can't get more that 1000 at on-line. I need to open an ozzie trading account - and benefit from the much better spreads there as well. BTW, are you aware of any other Ozzie O&G that are dual listed on AIM?

Steve73: ROC moving nicely so far today - good timing yourself. O/T, but take a look at AEX - just released presentation from the AGM and seriously overlooked imo. Also, plenty of drilling coming this year and next.

Hi again Steve: I'm in this one too from 1st May at 24p.... so has moved considerably in the last month. As above there is talk of a takeover, but no great new discovery potential it would seem.

Steve, Which one of the many exciting projects that Roc has going for it made you decide to risk your +37k? And why did you think it would not be better deployed in one of the many E&P' Co's out there who are actually doing something? Apologies Steve, reading it again I realise it's not your 100k. I wish you luck.

I've only just got in, on a recommendation from an Aussie I'm working with, who's just bought 100,000 in Oz & is well connected in O&G. FWIW.

Good to see the share price increasing. Sold out of ROC a few weeks ago - didn't see much significant upside. No exploration of note anymore. Good luck to those who remain.

Good rise in Oz today, murmurs of take-over and production in interview with CEO, await developments in London today.

Pleased to see ROC monetising some of its assets and reducing debt. Quite happy to see that the pumpers and dumpers have moved on.

"5. Authority for Share Issue Ratification by passing the following resolution: 'That, for the purposes of Listing Rule 7.1 and for all other purposes, shareholders of the Company hereby approve and authorise the issue of up to 88,200,000 Shares at an issue price of at least 80% of the average market price of the shares calculated over the last five days on which sales in Shares were recorded on ASX before the date on which the Shares are issued, on the terms and conditions contained in the Explanatory Memorandum.' Result - carried." http://www.advfn.com/p.php?pid=nmona&article=37824870&epic=ROC http://www.rocoil.com.au/userData/docs/Presentations/2009/AGM/ROC%20AGM%20-%20Chairmans%20Report%20-%2021%2005%2009.pdf http://www.rocoil.com.au/userData/docs/Presentations/2009/AGM/ROC%20AGM%20-%20CEOs%20Report%20-%2021%2005%2009.pdf Slide presentation here:- http://www.rocoil.com.au/userData/docs/Presentations/2009/ROC%20AGM%20-%20Presentation%20-%20210509.pdf The clue is that this is not yet in the share price. "AMID the rush to raise equity, ROC Oil's annual meeting today will seek clearance to raise up to 30 per cent of its issued capital at some point in the future for an unspecified purpose. ROC has had its trials, with the stock closing up 5 per cent at 63c yesterday on takeover speculation. The trading range over the past year has ranged from 30c in February to $2.68 in May. ASX rules say you can only raise up to 15 per cent of issued capital in a given year without shareholder approval. The reason, which seems to have escaped attention in the rush to pay down debt, is that issuing new shares is dilutive. Risk Metrics has recommended that shareholders reject the open-ended request to issue new equity. It will be interesting to see whether the board can convince shareholders in these capital-starved days that more equity is always good." but AGM tomorrow and maybe a tad dangerous to buy today ! However, nice chart pattern in OZ which is lead market of course and seems to have a minimum target of 70 cents . With the dreaded archaic system in uk of MMs and their wide spreads, might not match it here .

With shares up in Oz last night and oil pushing nearly $57 a barrel we should see a nice rise here today imo.
