POO.
It just appears that no one loves ROC but deep down all us holders adore the potential of this company. Just wait for the oil price to recover and ROC will come good, sport.

No one loves ROC, taking another beating tonight in Oz, I would sell but it's not the way to do it, so I may just as well forget I own them for a while.

I'll keep the header updated.

Funny they don't want to stay with the enlarged group!

No doubt Nexus selling is the reason for the depressed share price

thanks poo.

I do like trp but think wait untill Naimbia.

Just thinking that chances of finding oil in Uganda is good but what if they do find oil will they be able to export as currently not sure if there is a pipeline. Secondly whats your opionion but I think share price will only go to around 10p max if we do find oil in Uganda. If we are succesful in Naimbia then share price could be anything

Please bear in mind I am no expert, just lucky sometimes.

TRP is an out and out gamble.

I have a small play which will net a good return if there is commercial oil in Uganda, I think there is based of local finds by Heritage and Tullow in adjacent basins and licenses the nearest is 40 miles away.

They will drill in March 2009.

If you are risk averse then stay away from it, I am okay as I have free shares having cashed in at the big spike and rebought just recently, so I can do it with no worries.

If you decide to buy, then do it saying you are okay should the drills fail and the share price plummet, they have Namibia with huge potential too drilling 2010, but that carries expensive risks although they have a free carry there.

Tower remains very high risk but with potentially huge returns but be careful.

Usual disclaimers applied.

Other short termers with potential good upside are GKP and HOIL, Kurdistan is the draw there HOIL is backed up with other assets including Uganda.

It wont till oil reverses significantly and the FPSO is in place at BMG that never quite got there.

All that new money used to aquire Anzon is failing to realise it's potential right now, and I do realise there was a lot of paper money.

That's the bummer.

Never mind, next year sometime I suppose.

When do people expect share price to reach £1 mark again?

What news is expected for this to happen? Only asking because read not long ago how undervalued this was etc...

This has plummeted in Oz even after a late rally, down 12% because of the latest RNS concerning Basker Gummy Phase 2 FPSO termination.

Unbelievable.

"BASKER MANTA GUMMY ('bmg') OIL & GAS PROJECT

ROC, on behalf of its subsidiary Anzon Australia Limited ('AZA'), advises that the participants in the BMG Project have given notice to BW Offshore ('BW') of termination of the Letter of Intent ('LOI') signed in July 2008 for the supply of a floating production storage and offloading vessel ('FPSO') for the proposed BMG Phase-2 Project, due to failure of the parties to reach agreement in relation to the FPSO contract. BW has indicated that it will seek to recover costs relating to terminating third party vendor contracts from the participants in the BMG Project. Whilst the precise amount of these costs have not been disclosed to the participants, the participants in the BMG Project dispute that these costs are payable under the LOI. In any event under the LOI these costs are capped at US$78.5 million.

As a result, AZA and the other participants in the BMG Project are reviewing alternative proposals for optimal development of the BMG Oil and Gas Field including through alternative FPSOs.

BMG operations are continuing using the Crystal Ocean FPSO where current production capacity from the field is approximately 11,000 bopd. "

but not so much money to a wealthy investor who has a diversified portfolio i guess. Down 6 cents in OZ in spite of a bounce in oil price .
