A huge part of why the falklands have never been developed has been Argentina that daily contest them. The presentation told us that navitas have no worries on that score. That's a huge plus .Billions to the UK economy also.Wheres Johnson???

Would we know when or iff the BOD exercise the warrants. It would be good to follow their timing .

I've re-read the placing RNS :
" Each Warrant gives the holder the right to subscribe for one new Ordinary Share at a price of 9 pence per Ordinary Share (the "Strike Price") at any time from the issue of the Warrants up to (and including) 5.00 p.m. on 31 December 2023 (the "Warrant Exercise Period". Sorry - I was stalking molluscs !

Interesting discussion of the value of something that you are essentially being given free!Whatever develops among the partners during the relatively short lifetime of the warrants, they are a great risk management tool for the OM decision. This is why I have now applied for a decent chunk of units over and above my entitlement. If you have 100% ordinaries, that gives you full OM exposure - upside and downside. Adding warrants to the mix is pretty much adding upside only. You could even ditch the corresponding number of ordinaries.Simples. Yes it is.

There could be a huge difference in the shareprice from say Dec 2023 ,the warrants expire and then the FID decision is made Jan 2024 .The BOD hold a lot of warrants and stand to make more money from an early decision. Just an observation.

I have a feeling it has to be a legal thing, why these warrants expire in 2023 when expecting FID in 2024.They could have set them for longer. This is quite a short period .A stock warrant can cover any number of shares and often will have expiration dates far longer than stock options. Expiration dates of five, 10 or even 15 years are not uncommon for warrants.28 Feb 2022

Of course FID can still happen in 2023.It's just in the presentation they are expecting 2024.

As a follow-up, is there an overall time limit on cashing the warrants ?

I believe companies can choose to set a date for warrants to end and so wouldn't it have been much better for us ,to have had the date set at the end of 2024.

Yes I believe you can, but with FID in 2023 it would have been a certainty to make good money. Now it's still a gamble on what will happen in 2024 .Of course if the price is above 9p its not a gamble ,but maybe not such a large win.
