For those of you that have held Rockhopper Exploration Plc for many years, I say "Bravo. Congratulations!", I urge you to have a long term outlook towards Fossil Fuels based Energy. You will leave a rich legacy to your children.

It is therefore my own personal strong belief, that the Ombrina Mare outcome will be significantly positive, and very large for Rockhopper Exploration Plc. The timing, however, is unknown, and must not be speculated upon.

Most ICSID cases have settled out of court. However, Ombrina Mare has not (yet) settled.
This is only because one side strongly believes in an absolute win.
Rarely has the Italian Government spent much time on an item as miniscule as an Oil claim by a small UK company, versus the other pressing issues in Italian politics, such as ItalExit.

Every UK E&P Company that has a Good Asset and a Good Management, will ultimately do very well for their shareholders. My outlook is 25 years. I will definitely not enjoy the spoils but I will most definitely delight my children and grandchildren, and I am okay with that.

An appeal, write to your local MP about the UK Government's energy policy towards fossil fuels. They MUST SUPPORT DEVELOPMENT CAPITAL FOR FOSSIL FUELS. Write letters to the Editors of UK broadsheets. Publish Blogs about Energy.

It is most dangerous to put ALL EGGS in the green climate change basket. There has been NO REAL INVESTMENT IN OIL SINCE 2014. THIS IS TERRIBLY DANGEROUS. The Coronavirus situation only hastens the path to an oil supply crisis.

No other UK E&P has a story so compelling, or an asset of this potential. This is, for me, very much an all-counters-in once-in-a-lifetime long term long trade.

The Geology, sea conditions, and weather around Sea Lion is benign, versus elsewhere such as North Sea. Bog standard oil.

Shareholder, Board and Management interests are fully aligned, as all future rewards will be from share price. It is very fair to pay up to 10% ie 45million shares to Management.

I have often met the CEO/CFO/Chairman in person, spoken one-to-one, emailed & heard back from, on various issues. I have emailed & heard back from, and spoken one-to-one with the significant shareholders several times.
Strong belief in the BRIGHT FUTURE of this Company.

There is no substitute for Oil yet. There is a dire crisis of $200+ oil coming very soon.
Government energy policy is terribly myopic.

North Sea production is declining. Big oil exits North Sea. Premier/Chrysaor really need Sea Lion desperately to plug that gap.
Chrysaor's Private Equity backers are invested in US Shale, but US Shale is in decline.
