28/12/2018 10:35 | For those who don't do twitter, which I don't much, good to see DP publishes regular relevant articles both direct news and on macro level. If it interests him it should interest us 6:52 AM - 27 Dec 2018 #Rockfire Demand for the “red metal” #Copper needed for construction, comms & auto manufacturing is now being wired in, pun intended, to the tectonic shift of the transportation system. #Copper is an essential component of #EVs & demand is going to soar. Of course we do need to confirm shedloads of it before popping corks:) | paleje

12/12/2018 10:42 | That's right. Which is why a farmout/JV is the ONLY option re PNG. ROCK are fully aware they are far too small to handle the sheer, humungous scale of the PNG licence) It simply HAS to be one of the 'options' the Board must be considering, imo. (and the Board is 'weighing' options re PNG -- see post 535 above) | 2magpies
12/12/2018 09:23 | 2magpies, PNG is not a "resource" or even a discovery, it's a prospect. To date no economic mineralisation has been discovered. Will cost 10's of millions to prove or disprove and ROCK have no chance of funding that. | zhockey
11/12/2018 11:35 | detective1 yes, that's true, imo. Right now the share price has gone back to the PML days, when it was stuck for weeks/months @ around 1.00, with next to negligible daily volume. They need to distinguish themselves from the hoards of Aussie explorers. | 2magpies
11/12/2018 10:53 | Wouldn't take much for this to multibag. | detective1
11/12/2018 10:43 | I think its a bit better than many, 2mag, but I agree the sentiment...pretty much across the resource sector and in fact market in general it's a case of 'yeah? anddd??' Bear market sentiment, nasty. | paleje
11/12/2018 08:22 | thanks paleje I think ROCK (ex PML) ploughed in north of £10m into PNG. The PNG resource is far, far too big for little ROCK (as indeed it was for PML) - it just has to be a farm out with a mega-major. Right now (without any news re PNG), ROCK has become but yet another one of the tons of Aussie resource explorers. That's probably why Mr. Market's reaction after each drilling result seems to be: 'yeah? anddd??' | 2magpies
11/12/2018 08:10 | DP came back to me, nothing sinister in the omission of PNG, just it is back burner, won't plough more money into it there are more potentially achievable prospects to focus time and money on. It is not forgotten though. ..."The board is weighing up options for the assets. I'm sorry I can't be more specific at this point in time." - Davids words not mine. | paleje
08/12/2018 14:58 | Steely Dan - Aja - one of their less accessible tracks so more for fans - effortless flip from soulful pop to progressive jazz - sublime drumming at the end | luckymouse
